What's happen if I makes Forum website as alternative to ATS

What's Happen if I makes a Forum Website covering Conspiracies, UFO, and Alternative Topics (These Topics are largely copied from ATS as backup in case ATS is killed by skeptical debunkers) but also covers Wide Range of Subjects Including My Own fandoms?

What happens if you make your own website? I think nothing really happens. Except, of course, there will be another conspiracy website. I might be missing the point of this question but I'm not really sure what your getting at.

I do know that if you attempt to recruit to your site, from ATS, you will be banished. I've witnessed it and it is not pretty.

There exists, in the statement by masonicon, either a hollow threat from a dissatisfied ATS member wanting to pilfer some of the thunder which is ATS on the internet, or; it is a naieve train-of-thought within a convoluted though structure.

I'll address the latter, first: Nothing will happen sir. Nothing, so long as you don't steal or make copyright of some - or a significant - part of their website and content. So, unless you will be attempting to break some law with your own ATS-type forum, it's unlikely that anything will happen. You can relax, and get on with your build. I would suggest that if you think that ATS website management should know something about your own forum, it would probably be a good thing to let them know, and/or contact a lawyer who specializes in intellectual property and copyright.

The former, secondly: With the large size of ATS it is highly unlikely that you can dent ATS's figures with your own forum. However, go ahead if you have too. Another 'conspiracy' forum can be a success if it's done for pure, good reasons. I suspect that if you are making a threat; the management people of ATS are 'busting a gut' from laughing so hard.

Good luck, and I hope you succeed in forming something as good as this ATS place, with its neon-sign meeting place insignia.

There are dozens of sites with the same topics as ATS. All one has to do is google Conspiracy forums they will come up.

The PTB at ATS from what I can tell does not care about and even encourages other forums where people may congregate to discuss theory and share knowledge.

There have been many attempts by others who have become disenchanted by ATS and its T&C's to start their own forums.

They are sad to say the least.

Are you talking about a back up for ATS here? I'm sure and hope with all the advertising that ATS sell that they have a meaty server hidden somewhere underground, with another meaty server backing that one up somewhere else.

One would assume that the ATS techies have got that covered.

I think if you do a little bit of research you will find it has already been done....but try to recruit here at your peril! lol.

I hope you have a big advertising budget, because it will take a long time to reach this level of popularity, and notoriety...

I still don't understand why ANYONE would want to leave this site, ATS is awesome and has changed my life personally, as well introduced me to many great new friends.
