Watch this hilarious video and see if it doesn't remind you of nearly any news segment you've watched in the last several years - From BBC, CNN, to Fox.

To me it just highlights how formulaic the "news" has become, less and less about simply telling the audience what's going on and more about entertainment (and propaganda). "News" has gotten so pathetic I don't think you can even mock it any more!

Thanks so much for that. I will be sending this one off to all that I know.

I haven't watched the news in quite some time. This reminds me how much I am not missing.

In one of the episodes of this series of Newswipe, a female Journalist was explaining the use of "a source" and how it allows the papers to get away with saying anything they want to say without accountability just by using the words "a source said" or "an insider said"

Just shows how much BS we are being fed.

I love watching his shows as he seems to be channelling my own thoughts half the time.

That was a great 2 minute clip!!!
But his TV programmes are over half an hour long, and I think (that in general) they poke a lot of fun, without telling you anything much new.
Also he talks, like someone would talk to you about the weather on a miserable day; and whilst this might be intended to be funny-entertaining, it does also give real damping effect to any thoughts of real political action, his programme might provide its audience.

I hope you just mean contributing to your own thoughts!!!
