So I was listening to Coast to Coast this morning on my way to work, they were talking about genetically modified foods, and then the hourly ABC news
clip comes on. It was talking about this and that and then it mentioned that Chicago had an earthquake. Interesting I thought. What a place for an
earthquake. I didn't think much of it until the clip cut to an "eyewitness" of the earthquake. It was a man who said that he remembered hearing a
loud "boom" and then the quake happened. Then the man said that he heard another "boom" and the ground shook again.
Anyway... I just thought that it was funny that ABC news would put a guy saying that he heard booms on to talk about an earthquake. I know that
things can fall and gas lines may blow, etc etc, but I still thought it was strange of ABC to use that sound bit.
