I saw it I saw it! To me it was just a tiny blue and red flashing light in the sky, but the flashes on my lappy of the cams matched the dot in the sky 100%. Obviously they didnt 100% line up.

Glad you saws it way up there. I live about 20mins or so from the Space Center so it's a pretty good view from where I live. I also live on the top floor of my building which over looks the entire area. I have video I am trying to upload to my laptop now.

Yeah I was pretty excited and I have seen them all go up. I like the night launches the best and where I live this time is the best view I have ever had! I have always lived fairly close to the Space Center so I have a decent view every time.

A friend of mine works on the shuttle and he has been keeping me updated all week. He helped design software and other things for the shuttle. He gave me the shuttle coins, pins and patches from the launches and another friend has more for me next week when I see him. It's kind of nice having friends there

Camcordering it is sucky at night... at 80 miles that is.. Still awesome! It looks like a candle flame...

IMO, I think the canceled X-33 shuttle should be funded and brought back into development. That IMO would be a great successor to the Space Shuttle.

Seems NASA only has 4 more of these space flights planned for this year, I wonder when we will get to hear some information about the scrapped constillation program and what NASA are planning next.

From what I can gather the program is beng scrapped but they will still receive funding to advance technologies that will ebb towards putting robots/equipment into space rather than humans.

Is the overall finding they will receive going to be cut? and is it set in stone that the constallation program is definatly gone now.
