Iran says 'final' deal on uranium exchange is near

He said it was time for China's voice to be listened to with more respect on the world stage.

"We have one fifth of mankind," the foreign minister said. "At least we deserve a chance to express our views on how things should be run in the world."

"We are offering views but we have the modesty to listen to others. That has always been the tradition of China, but I think, we also deserve a hearing of one kind or another. One country, two countries three or four countries can definitely not decide the future of the world."

Honestly, I don't know who to agree with on this aspect, America, or China. China does have a point, they should be heard, not just the government of China, but the people to. I am worried about future Chinese/American relations.

There had better not be a war, because I could see it being the near end of humanity. A WWIII with China would not be a good thing.

When I was talking about a possible future war with China my father over heard and said, 'bring them on, we'll take them all on, we'll take the whole world. You don't F*** with America'. I just can't help but get angry when he says ignorant things such as this but I just have to cool off and recognize that he is one of the most ignorant and brainwashed of all americans.

I get angry with people who say things like that to. War for the sake of peace is not the right way to go.

China is correct in stating that no one or two, three, four etc. countries should act like ruler of world. Imo every country should have a say in matters directly or indirectly concerning them or related to them.

That being said I do not agree with China on Tibet, Taiwan and Dalai Lama issue. China should not force other countries and same goes for USA.

That depends. I wouldn't get angry with him right away.

In less than 300 years, America has changed the entire world for the better in many, many ways! China hasn't done that in 3000 years.

In both of the Great Wars, America stepped up and defended her allies at great cost to herself.

In Indonesia, Haiti, Africa and Europe America has stepped up with people, money, resources and technology to assist people in need. Has China done that?

I am extremely unhappy with the American Government over the past 15 years or so, but I agree with your father on a grander scale! This is the greatest Country on Earth, and while we have flaws, we still strive for the greater good!

Just one of our Battleship groups is more militarily mighty than all but 4 countries in the world. California's economy alone would be in the top 10 world economies!

If anyone in the world, thinks they stand a fighting chance against the military, economic, or spiritual might of the USA, then I say bring them on as well! I would much rather stand shoulder to shoulder with them and prop up all of humanity, but when it comes time to fight, I want your father on my side!

So the greater good in a Chinese American war would be killing millions of people because of a little drama between countries?

I don`t know what to think anymore. On one hand, why is it, that america has to be the ones to arm these other countries? What happened to the other allied nations, why can`t they arm them?

As for China devaluing money, what about our banking system and government devaluing money? Yes, we can point at China, but don`t you think we need to be pointed at as well? Which country is it that is printing money like there was no tomorrow, and nothing but words to back it up? We can screw other countries over by selling them our massive debt that we will never be able to pay back like China, then we turn around and as good as dare them to say something about these arms deals? What is it with this government of ours? I`m sorry, I forgot, our government is run by the big corperations now, and they are the ones who will make the big bucks on this deal.

Not at all. The greater good would be opening up Tibet, opening up the Chinese people to more Human Rights, opening up the US to more understanding of other cultures and world history.

The greater good would be better education in the US, and more widespread communication in the rest of the world.

The greater good would be China realizing they can't consider going to war with the US, and the US realizing they can't bully everybody into compliance.

We need that good Patriotic spirit from the first 200 years of this country's existence combined with global awareness and better education and understanding of the world's condition.

The US can continue to change the world for the better, or they can continue to push and bully and defend against countries like China just to maintain the status quo, but that doesn't change the fact that if push comes to shove, the US will win at all costs and millions of innocents will suffer.

I don't want to see millions of Chinese farmers suffer over some petty squabbles anymore than you, but I don't want to see some punk disrespect his father for having a patriotic opinion either!

It`s one thing to be patriotic, but one can push being patriotic to a breaking point.
You were doing well with your thread till you got to the part where you called him a punk. Was there a real big need for the name calling?

You are right that the punk statement was out of line with the rest of the post and probably uncalled for and off-topic.

That said, I don't regret it, because too many of today's youth do not have the proper respect for their parents! Does he have any idea why his father feels that way? Does he have any idea why his father would say that aloud? Does he have any idea the pain his father probably feels when looking at a son that thinks he knows the way of the world better than himself?

I used to be a punk. I used to know a lot more than my father, and I made a whole lot of unnecessary mistakes in life, because I was too dumb to stop and listen for a minute.

We were all punks at one time or another. But, sometimes even parents need to grow up and stop the hate they have for others. It never gets you anywhere carrying hate all your life.

it occurs to me that when a country criticizes USA for WHATEVER reason, either it be today China, tomorrow Russia, the day after tomorrow a whatever Sovereign Country in the UN, then all these patriots will go on lead on by their MSM warmongering cries all over the internet

Ps. Ironically, these are the same people who always tell you how the MSM is only a propaganda brainwashing medium, but most likely did not even check up the facts....

I guess 'the greater good' would be the end of Chinese Communism.

Some people think we are going to have to face them with nuclear weapons eventually, and that we might as well do it now while we have the advantage.

That "1/5 of a mankind" is owned by a profoundly corrupt communist party which brutally silences its own people, which in turn are the most raped and violated folk on earth's face for the past god-knows how many centuries.

The other part, 300 million Americans are the most brainwashed, ignorant, uneducated, hypocritical, double-standard destruction-bent bunch.

The third part, 150 million Russians are irresponsible, alcohol-for-brains, careless, pain-loving maniacs with absolute disregard for the gift of life.

Do you want any of those to, I quote, "decide the future of the world"? Well, we obviously do want, otherwise it would be different
.

Don't take this too seriously, hopefully I didn't insult anyone's precious individualism
