Egyptian sources: Israel prepares to strike Iran from Gulf and N. Iraq

Again, this has happened over 200 times in the past 15 years alone. Empty threats, and a shouting match between the Western religious. Nothing will ever come of it, and they'll go back to their bunkers making plans of world domination. When push comes to shove, after the Six Day War, the Islamic nations will back down. Not saying I like Jews...but they will back down.

I know Iran says they will launch 10,000 missiles into Tel Aviv, Israel Nuclear Sites and American Interests in the region but...

With an offensive launched by US ACC and Israeli Jets.... I'd be scared to death to be a general in the Iranian army right now.

USrael will take out any Iranian sattellite and/or guidance system they have on the go... preventing them from coordinating any such attacks.



It's taking forever to launch this attack because it's taking forever to plan it precisely.

JPost has quite a lot of chatter, the Israeli government are trying to inform Syria they do not want war. After all, Syria military is heavily Russian influenced.

Israeli's want new peace talks.

Keep an eye on this situation.

iran is the key to chinas rise, its oil is the very blood of the dragon right now, without it, they will have serious problems moving that preposterously large army of theirs, let alone the damage their economy will take.

Is it coincidence that china and usa are starting to fall out with each other over arms to taiwan, internet censorship (google) and telling obama to stay away from the dalai lama, at the same time as the tensions are being raised in the middle east?

The iranians are important to the chinese right now, but without their nukes they are weak, the more china shows signs of being another aggressive expansionst power, which it is, imo. then the more likely the iranians will be smashed.

im pretty sure after the fall of the u.s.s.r the pentagons mission statement was to do everything in their power to prevent the the emergence of a rival power ie china!

the russians are a wild card though, niall fergusons book "war of the world" advanced the idea that combination of economic volatility, decaying empires, psychopathic dictators, and racially/ethnically motivated (and institutionalized) violence resulted in the wars, and the genocides of what he calls "History's Age of Hatred".

we have all that, decaying empires, economic volatility at the extreme, but the russians are currently siding with asians.could this change? i think so. time will tell.

Israel has a history of attacking first. Starting wars.

I know the IJDL call these Pre-emptive strikes, there not , they are the start to wars.

Haha yeah right......I'd LOVE to see our effing government try to come draft me......I'm a physically fit, educated, 30 year old male. I'm married and I'm about to start my own family. Trust me, we have no interest in the use of a draft to appease our personnel level requirements. The Vietnam war proved that the use of a draft creates ineffective soldiers based on the fact they aren't volunteers and have absolutely no motivation to get anything done if in the service.

That's the reason why the most effective military for a free society is one where it's completely made up of volunteers, free people taking the free choice to defend and preserve the ability for people to make that choice and preserve it for years to come.

Now given the likeliness of them using an ICBM to deliver a warhead of any type to the US mainland is not likely given the distance and how far they are in terms of ICBM technology. It's also not practical for them to try and land ground troops. The only real way is if they attack our Naval groups stationed within range of their missiles or else have them smuggle a nuclear warhead into the US via cargo ship and have some terror cell carry out the mission for them and blow some random major American city to kingdom come.

If nukes are used in the Middle East as has been predicted, it's curtians for the world.

im pretty sure the israelis would go nuclear first, not iran.

Nobody wants War but unfortunately it's going to happen.

It needs to happen to sort things out, you know, good comes out of bad and all that!

Sooner the pressure is released from the cooker, the better so we can have proper calm again!

You have to be joking or you know nothing about hstory or you read history from fringe sources.

I seriously hope this article is merely over-blowing the situation.

While I disagree with a lot of Israeli policies, the last thing this world needs is a full blown war over power.

Let's be honest...Israel wants to be the only nuclear super-power in the region, despite never admitting having nuclear warheads.

The fear of Israel not being the "biggest boy in the yard" is what is really driving this. And of course, the U.S. and other allies have to support that decision, or Israel will "out" everyone for every overt and clandestine operation they've ever done.

its still not the end....it just means people will live in the fallout...the aftermath....sure things will not be the same...but life will continue.

Well... actually they're not "pickin on Israel"... try to learn some history first. Israel is not the victim here.

But I do share one of your thoughts... I have no sympathy if someone nukes Israel out of the face of the planet. The cancer needs to be removed before it spreads, and Israel has spread too much already... its time that someone puts an end to Zion for the World's sake.
