And he is prepared to fight, not work with, as usual because the sciences of advancing human civilization are irrelivent; and we must no longer lead and relent to China, Russia, etc,. This is a crying shame and the reason as to why I joinned this site today... this burns me up! So my question here to all you ATS memebers is this: "are you all prepared to fight like Obama to save the space program or just go quietly into the night? If the dinosaurs had a place to go just before they were wiped out, they would not be extinct today... think about that! My name is David and I look forward to conversing and making friends here. I wish not to disrespect anyone here including the president as this artical is not political motivated. It does not matter to me what president makes this statement, my feelings remain the same... I think it's wrong! Let's actually expand the space program and create jobs... let's keep working towards the advancement of our civilization and continue to try and find another habbitable world; and have a place to go, unlike the dinosaurs, so as not to become extinct ourselves. I wonder how Buzz and Neil feel about this?

Good. He is finally gonna cut some programs and get down the debt. A shame he doesn't start in D.C. though.

The American people have spoken, by not speaking.

They want wars over seas , over space exploration, even if it finacially ruins

them.

Space will wait, there's more people to kill first.

I wish that this program would continue...but as long as we don't trim more of our scientific missions through the rest of the solar system, I'm okay with this.

It is a pity that we've driven up a deficit paying for killing off other human beings, and not going to the stars.

EDIT: Missed a word!

Good Point Shadow! Because one day humans might overpopulate this planet and we'll need to branch out and find other habbitable planets to sustain us.
