Your spiritual awakening

I'm not sure how common it is, but I know many people who have had a point in life, usually while younger, where they have sort of a spiritual awakening for one reason or another. A moment of 'whoa,' as if something finally clicked making spirituality/religion an easy path to follow. I know I did, and I'd love to hear about different peoples personal history with religion/spirituality, if it's not too personal.
