Nothings going to happen except you'll spend an hour listening to circle talk, disappointment talk, moans, groans, applause, and then some one after the speech will then "tell you" what it is you just heard.
Is it up against IDOL though? or did they have enough sense to keep IDOL at 8pm to 9pm.
Wouldnt it be a real test of mental metal if they did a head to head?
IDOL goes up against SOTU....now who's gonna get the ratings, seriously?

Fox news just reported that Obama will appeal to retract the don't ask don't tell policy..... maybe this is what all the hype is about. I could see some of the old school republicans having a heart attack over that...

May I ask what part of the Bible covers this? I don't think you've actually read it. The Temple of Solomon hasn't been rebuilt yet, and the last I checked the Bible doesn't mention the Anti-Christ being introduced by anyone, The anti-Christ is supposed to be the head of the Temple of Solomon upon it's rebuilding.

Actually there is nothing in the bible that requires the Temple to be rebuilt. If you read carefully you will see that there is an angelic command to "measure the area for the temple, but to exclude the outer court because it has been given to the gentiles (nations)." That simply says the area will be measured, and the reference to the outer court being given to the nations is clearly an indicator of the "shared" status of the temple mount between the Jews and the Muslims.

The bible also says that sacrifices would be done, but all that is needed for that is a portable altar. During the rebuilding of second temple, sacrifices were done in a portable altar as the actual temple was being erected. There is no need whatsoever for the temple to even be started in order for sacrifices to begin.

So, quite literally, the conditions for the book of Revelation is already in place (The Temple Institute), and it can be enacted in a single day... as soon as the political conditions allow for the Jews to have a part of the temple mount for animal sacrifice, the conditions of the bible will be met.

Check out this quote from yahoo news. I had no idea this is policy. It makes sense but it just has that doom and gloom tone to it.

Wouldn't it blow your minds if a gray walked out on stage. That would make the paramedics a necessity indeed.

I can't stand Obama. But I am not about to miss this SoTU Address. Just the possibility of it makes it exciting to me.

That's just basic precaution incase the SOTU address was attacked by someone. There always needs to be a backup of some sort incase lots of the members of the govt. were to die, or be wounded.

I mean, the UK gets to see him making speeches every week about something, he's on our news channels more than our muppet Gordy Brown!

So why the big hooha about tonight?

Please educate us Brits, what are we missing here?

I think maybe there should be some sort of system when making a new thread where you choose what it basically will be about (some sort of bullet list) and then you must go by the rules of making those posts. Then in another forum you can post all the crap you usually do.

It is getting ridiculous to the point I have no interest in reading most threads these days because they are all lies, predictions, and other crap from people who have a very low IQ (no offense here but common!).

We have all made stupid threads, but the thing is the stupidity of threads on ATS has risen to an all time high. Every day there is some sort disclosure, or war, or whatever date announced with no evidence other than maybe some articles talking a bit about the possibilities of this happening, and from sources that really have no inside information.

Yes freedom of speech is great, and I respect that here on ATS - but I think some moderation is in need. It's tiring to look through a thread (such as this one) and find out there is nothing proving the OP's point.

Added medical staff... well if you had 100's or 1000's of people together would you feel safe not having some emergency personnel around? NO!

And I have read this whole thread and nothing of interest sticks out. I'm sorry to burst everyones bubble, but it's all lies. If for some reason I'm the idiot and some peoples disclosure dates are correct, I'll kick my self in my own ass for you all and take a picture to confirm.

That being said, Obama sucks, the government sucks, the elite/tptb suck, being lied to constantly sucks, and worst of all as said as it may be the world leaders work together to create all the messes there are. I bet even Iraq knew we were evading before we did to get the masses to safe places and let those who really want to try and fight stay and die for no reason (although yes civilians have died I know that, and it's very wrong).

People realize how strong the elite are, I mean you may think you do but none of us unless you're one of them and in the upper ranks, know nothing for certain.

Yes, LIFE IS SPECULATION, so why don't you talk consistently and realize that there is nothing wrong with speculation? The OP simply asked a question. He did not make an assertion. At least the people who come here are doing something more than sitting around watching soap operas. They are discussing what MAY be. The very nature of conspiracy is that IT IS SECRET, so all you have is speculation, unless there is some big break in uncovering actual proof and facts... but that is very rare, so until that happens, we amuse ourselves with speculation... or we just go away and do some other meaningless thing.

Why do you come here and suggest that an OP like this one doesn't deserve to be discussed, and then in the final breath you say that life is all speculation... PERIOD? That is like you complaining that everyone is overweight, and then admitting in the final sentence that life is just about eating food, period! A big lack of consistency I'd say.

And, by the way, I do not write meaningless posts. In my posts for this thread I offered some dot connecting, and that required some speculative thinking. It was not obvious in December that the 2-hour reserved TV time spoken of by Wilcock could in fact be the SOTU address. If that was suggested, I don't remember anyone taking it seriously. So, when that occurred to me, I found it an interesting approach... I realized that it would have worked beautifully. They could have planned a complete secret announcement, and nobody in the press would know anything about it until it happened, thereby preventing the press from stealing all the thunder. In fact, if you think about it, it is really the only way something like that COULD occur. If they ever told the networks what they would really talk about (alien disclosure), you know for sure that some over-zealous reporter would leak the info, and that is all everyone would be talking about, causing all kinds of speculation, and all kinds of potential misinformation.

Anyhow, you are free to not visit ATS or make posts. Nobody is twisting your arm. I am all for people making good threads filled with lots of facts and verifiable "proofs", but as you pointed out in your final statement, LIFE IS SPECULATION... so why just make the best speculations you can and enjoy it while you still a free Internet that allows you to do so?

I 'll be watching tonight's State of the Union address, just because my curiosity is peaked. If he would provide disclosure, I'd be very surprised. I'd love to see disclosure happen, though.

Its a tradition in American politics for the President to blow smoke up our arse once a year in the State of the Union Address followed by the opposition party blowing more smoke up our arse in the opposition rebuttal speech.

Its a major deal over here, all of the TV stations broadcast it. I usually try to find a good DVD to watch at that time.

Such a negative mindframe isn't uncommon throughout these forums. You need to move away from the paranoia that every soul in the Government (aiming more at the president here), is held by an iron fist to such that Disclosure would be impossible.

It's very easy for a President to reveal the truth whilst gaining protection from the reasons he wouldn't have at the same time, simply by Disclosure. It's all down to the man. And whilst that is possible, there will always be a chance.

What if Disclosure happens today? Could it not be a play to get teh american public back on Obama's side? I mean really what would be better for the popularity of a "Man of the People" then to disclose things the government has been covering up for years. . .

And if this were the case how could you put your faith in what is said? Obama hasn't exactly proven to be the most genuine person ever to hold the office of the presidency. . .
