Hello everyone,

Not sure if I have posted this in the best place but I guess the mods will move it if it is in the wrong place. Anyway back to the topic, I have always been fascinated with space and also our moon.. As a child I would look up and wonder what it was made of, where it came from and whether or not people or aliens lived on it.

I recently purchased a new telescope and attached my video camera and I thought I would film some footage of the moon and upload it on here to share and would like others to share there footage or photo's they have taken of the moon. I guess I would like to turn this thread into a collection of moon videos and images or rather an online thread library for everything to do with the moon. Infact if you have anything to write about the moon do that too!! (even if you have no pics).

Thanks for your time and I hope you enjoy my video.

Hi Justjoemusic.
Let me be the first to congratulate you on your fine Moon video. Really like the fact that you have covered all the equipment you used and took us through it.
Impressive results...! Though I noted when you took the camera to the top the result was a tad blurry...though I suspect this was due to our atmosphere.
Anyway now going to watch how to make a cheap dolly..:-)
Great channel BTW
All the best....

Hi, thanks for watching the videos, glad you enjoyed them... your right when the camera and telescope was focused on the top of the moon the Earth's atmosphere blurred the vision slightly.

I will be building a massive telescope for my back garden at the end of the summer so should get some really impressive videos/photo's.

I also see your fairly new to ATS so welcome!
