2012 - What you didn't know but now will

If 2012 does happen, I'm sure there will be signs leading up to the actual date. The Sun won't just go crazy from one day to the other. There will be changes indicating what is to come. And I'm sure amateur astronomers will pick up these changes. So for now, I'll just consider 2012 another doomsday story, but as soon as the evidence is there that something is happening with the Sun, the revolution will begin. I won't go down without a fight.

Perhaps they're banking (no pun intended) on it not going off in the time it would require to replenish our surface veggies?

But indeed, if they were wiped, they'd surely be the next generation of Tutankhamens to whoever or whatever happened to evolve next. Updated versions of, or next generation of pyramids?

It's a ridiculous thought, but maybe we should be looking underground for Atlantis as well.

I hate to bring this up, but even if 2012 doesn't happen naturally, it's painfully apparent they're doing everything in their power to bring it about unnaturally, so perhaps they truly DO know something we don't.

With all the hyperbole about 2012, the mayan calendar, earthquakes, tidal waves, polar shifting, etc, I am amazed that nobody has mentioned anything that is supposed to go hand in hand with this mayan phenomenom? And that is none other than the mystery of the lost "Crystal Skulls"!

A good friend of mine who knows a few folks in higher gov't places told me about 14 years ago that the usa gov't had all but 3 of those skulls. I thought this was a big joke until my step-son told me the same thing some 16 years or so later than my friend did!

It's believed that russia has 1 of the remaining 3 skulls, and Iran has the other 2. Could that be why we are ever so cautious in engaging Iran militarilly? Time will tell I reckon. Anyways, just thought I'd drop that tidbit of info out there and see what any of ya'll might know about it.

Never fear, for those who hide in the mountains begging to be covered up by the rock and stuff won't be safe either. Just like those bible thumpers who think that they are going in the "rapture"? That rapture ain't happenin neither!

Jesus plainly told his deciples on the mount of olives that they would be delivered to those who would kill and afflict them for his namesake! That's in matthew 24 by the way. Then in the book of revelation, chapter 6, it plainly says that the souls under the alter who had already been slain and wanted revenge for their deaths asked God how long before their deaths would be avenged, and God said, not until those who were left were slain just like they were, and then the souls were given their white robes!

I believe in God and Jesus, but Jesus isn't coming til the last trump. A lotta folks don't like to hear that, but that is the simple fact of the matter! So don't worry, God will take care of us, for he said that those with the seal of God in their foreheads will not suffer!

Initially, I found the first post depressing. Another one of those absolute doomsday scenario oft repeated yet again. It only proves one's fear and with that fear, it makes one irrational, dooming not only oneself but others as well.

But rather to avoid such topics, the insignificant me thought to counter such fears, but confronting it rationally and logically, so that more may consider and think for themselves, on whether they should roll over and play dead, or take the necessary precautions.

Solar flare storm in the year 2012 is real enough, but nevertheless still only a highly probable as it is only a prediction. Basing on scientific knowledge, we do know the effect of solar flare - more so a high X-flare similar type that had hit Earth in 1859.

Humans, fauna and flora did not die out in 1859. Only man made electrical appliances such as electrical telegraph wires. The high temperatures will not touch earth through space, nor will any proton storm, and may only affect our magnetosphere , part of Earth's invisble large protective electromagnetic field, shielding our planet, as it had shielded it for millenia, and will continue to do so.

At most, the daily temperature will raise by 0.3 degrees, hardly hot enough to heat up bathtubs. Furthermore, that solar storm will reach Earth at lightning speed, and will equally disipate with lightning speed, and not for hours or days on end.

At worse, the damage will only be to electrical and electromagnetic products such as satillites and electrical grids. Blackouts and disruptions will occur, with much lives affected, for our dependence on electricity is high.

But it will not and never be able to doom mankind. At most, after reparing the grids and appliance within months, lives will go on.

Howver, for the most pessimistic, it will be advisable to have on hands a survival kit, such as medicines and food supplies. For those who live in the countrysides, hunger will not be an issue, but only for city folks. City folks do have the means to stock up food, medicine and water for 3 months anyway.

The rich will always have their ways, but the poor will have none. Thus it will be the responsibility of us all to care for everyone else, to ensure each human have stocks of water and food ready for 3 months, and a central supply of medicine and medical staff ready within walking distances or horse/bicycle distances.

The selfish rich will not care for anyone else except themselves and their own, so no need to bother about them, and never to forget what they intend to selfishly do.

What matters is what you and I will do and have to do to help one another - ourselves, our families, our relatives and friends in the event of an unlikely severe Solar storm. Some may die, but many more will live if the right thing is done by ourselves. Egalitarian Mankind will survive. ( to hell with the utilitarian elites!)

This is where you may be wrong because during this solar maximum this time, the poles of the sun are going to flip, which could temporarily disable the entire electromagnetic field of the earth. For the brief period as the field flips, it could mean doom and gloom. Our electromagnetic field is also weaker then it ever has been. I hope HAARP is the military way of artificial magnetic field protection.

No, if the magnetic poles flip, the magnetic field will always be there, protecting us from solar radiation. It won't be as organised as it is now, but it will always be there.

And HAARP is just a research project that can only affect the ionosphere almost directly above it, and is dwarfed by the amount of energy the sun hits the ionosphere with.

It just goes to show the level of ignorance among the 2012 believer crowd. At least understand the tripe you're spreading! Deny ignorance - start with yourself!

Again, 2012 will be just a year, like every other year. People who say 2012 is going to be different, are either lying, confused, ignorant, or a mixture of all three. Those selling books and trinkets are usually all three.

I completely have the same mentality TBH.

On a further note, lets be honest here guys just because there is a significance in the Mayan calander and all the other nonsense thats going on about 2012, who says nothing positive will happen? A new age maybe? When theres a time of "change", it only takes a select few to stir up something about the subject "END OF THE WORLD" and that instantly attracts bad attention. And then that gets elaborated abit TOO much.

If there is some sort of a mass-extinction that will occur, dont go overboard. Just enjoy the life you have had and respect life itself, because to be perfectly honest, it could be alot worse.

Enjoy it whilst it lasts, however long that may be.

It might be interesting to see what interests you and how good of a researcher you are sir. And anyway nobody here can PROVE anything about 2012 yet but they should be respected in their opinions. Anyone who can think logically sees, that if this would be known years and years before it happens, then if everyone would start digging bunkers and preparing for the event we could save hundreds or thousand times more people then by doing it in secrecy.

Just wanted to let you know the crystal skulls were debunked a long time ago. They're fake, man made.. Only when they discovered they were fake, because they had payed so much for them or something they decided to keep quiet in case the others were real. But eventually word got around they're all fake.

I'm aware of the event you're speaking of but the loss of telegraph wires at that time represented an inconvenience, whereas today, electrical based systems are essential to human existence around much of the world. Computers, radios, televisions, climate control systems, automotive electronics, refrigerators, public transportation, communication systems, our entire infrastructure and lifestyle is built around/dependent on electrical/electronic systems.

I do agree it's a projection rather than a prediction but if an event of that sort were to happen today, the excrement would almost definitely hit the fan. Plants and wildlife would be unaffected because their lives would just go on for the most part but humans would be in a pickle if everything were down for long.

Ironically, underdeveloped cultures would have a better chance of survival because they're accustomed to living without the conveniences of developed countries. As sparse as their existence may seem, their ability to get by on the barest of necessities would be beneficent to them.
