I am putting togather a database of all the secret "Areas" in the world (examples being Area 51 and stuff about it). I would greatly appreciate FACTUAL and SERIOUS information on this topic.

just scan through the titles and read what you find interesting, there's a lot of info there.

There is an area S4, make sure you search for info on that. It's near area 51 but even more secure, and allegedly houses retrieved UFOs.

I'm glad to see that you have this intrest! Let me start you off with some basics. First off you looking for Restricted Areas. Be careful some areas are just that, Restricted Areas. For example Area 20, this is a strip of land where the US Air Force tests special ordinance, it's a bombing range, so there is not very much our there. It restricted for two reasons: First the military uses live ordinance out there, second, the weapons they test are often secret. The point is there is NO base in Area 20, it's just an area. So my tip to you is look out for Areas that are just Areas and don't be suprised if you find some.

Now on to some useful info:

Area 51: This base is one of best known of the secret areas. See the ATS main pages and UFOMind.com

Area 30: This is the Tonapha Test Range. It was originally a nucler weapons test center before run by Sandia National Labs, before it was remodeled in the early 1980's for the F-117A Nighthawk. The Nighthawk left TTR in 1992 (I think, but it may also have been the end of 1991) after the gulf war. Today the base is thought to be home to a possible secret sucessor to the Nighthawk, though this is unconfirmed.

Area 19: This area of the nevada test sight is the source of much debate! Theories on this area range from a bomb testing reange like Area 20, to a Top Secret laser weapons or a UFO research facility. The most extreem story I've found on Area 19 is the Chesire Air Strip, a mystery research facility with a runway that appears out of no where when a plane comes in to land and then fades away again once the plane leaves. Now I don't know if the story is true or not.

Area 2: Supposed to be a Munition storage center at Nellis used to house Nuclear weapons. Cosists of a fenced in complex of bunkers. Some people also say there is also a prison camp nearby, I don't know if that part is true or not. (If you want hard facts, Stick with the weapons storage center, I've seen the storage bunkers at the site.)

Area 6413: A secret base in Utah, near the Green River. Often Called the Green River Launch Complex, this site had the capability to launch missiles or rockes. This is often Mistakenly referred to as the New Area 51. The base has no known connection to Groom Lake or any of the Area 51 research.

This List gives you a good starting point. My best advice to you as a ATS researcher is this: Keep an open mind and use the list above as a starting point. Do your own research and see how it compairs with the info that I and Fellow ATS Members provide you. This will allow you to find any mistakes that I or others trying to help might have made. Good Luck, and U2U me if you need help.

Here are some nice lists of "offical" bases worldwide.

www.nasaa-home.org...
www.globalsecurity.org...
www.globemaster.de...

Hope that helps.

In building a list of bases, I think its best to cover the basics first. Will help you find alternate names used for known bases too.
