Lowered Threat Level

Just saw on www.cnn.com that they are lowering the threat level to Elevated.
I just figure that means the attacks will happen now, but then again maybe I am getting cynical and paranoid.

Just means that the war that was supposed to start, got pushed back a few weeks... It'll go back up to orange soon (right before the war), and then to red (once it starts)...

I'll put away the duct tape

I'm a civil servant in the UK and we're still on our usual alert state of black special. We went up to amber on and off for about 3 months after 9-11, so I'm guessing no one high up in my department feels unduely concerned as yet, even though my office is one of it's 3 high risk targets in the event of terrorist action

I'll remove mine from my nose and mouth. I wanted to ensure that that I was sealed and protected. Thank God too, I was about to run out of air.

that's why i'm on the internet. i got my duct tape all over my head so i have to type to communicate. i eat food through a needle in my back.

i doubt it means much though. the alert probably means that any terrorist attack they were predicting or monitoring was foiled. nothing to worry about
