Toba was the largest erupted supervolcano that was ever recorded in history. But I have my eyes on Yellowstone, that supervolcano, not only that it
will create a global blanket of ash, but I live about 500 miles away from it, just along the border of the danger zone.
It's caldra measures 55 by 72 kilometers, and who knows how many kms of depth it has. But has a very large pocket sitting there. If this thing
erupts, it'll be the loudest explosion that you've ever heard, any sound over 200 decibels can kill ya. I estimate the amount of ash could perhaps
cover the entire U.S with a few inches of it.
I could imagine that all supervolcanos can cause widespread ash in our atmosphere. For how long? Months to a few years. Depends on how much gets
kicked up.
Awh damn I was too slow :p
