What is the deal with militarists and food anyway?
CAESAR - salad
KAISER - roll
NAPOLEAN - a layered bar of pastry w/ fruit filling layers.
GARIBALDI - a cracker
BISMARCK - a jelly-filled dougnut
WELLINGTON - A beef dish
HAMANTASHEN - a jelly-filled pastry to commemorate Haman, the oppressor of Jews in the book of Esther. Means "Little Haman's Hats" in German.
GENERAL TSO'S CHICKEN - chicken in a very thick sauce; love those little straw mushrooms that come with it
What exactly do you have to do to get a dish named after you?
See if you can name some more.
