Video footage 'shows Afghanistan CIA bomber'

Video footage purported to be of the Jordanian bomber who blew up CIA agents in Afghanistan has been broadcast on Pakistani and Arabic television.

Arabic channel al-Jazeera showed a clip of Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi vowing to avenge the death of Pakistani Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud.

A Pakistani TV station showed video of the purported bomber with the Taliban chief's successor, Hakimullah Mehsud.

Now don't get wrong here, as all news has a propoganda slant, but does Pakistani TV need to transmit this video in full?

I can understand the reasoning behind Al Jazeera wanting to "give the full" details as that is what they stand for.

But I am bemused that a state broadcaster who is supposed to be working with the US would want to feed this to it's citizens

The language used in the video is ambiguous to say the least, no specifics what so ever.

Why are they addressing the audience (presuably Pashtun and Arabic speakers) in English?

What video format is this shot in? PAL, SECAM NTSC - frame rates? 29,97, 25?

If this was intended for English speaking audiences why would Sky and the BBC help the terrorists in their nefarious objectives by granting them an outlet for this message?
