What do you think about this? It looks pretty detailed even when you zoom in but could it be a glitch?

***LOOK AT GREENLAND IN GOOGLE EARTH OR MAPS*** I CAN'T GET THE URL TO WORK

The link doesn't work for me either. Is this referencing that long sort of object half buried in snow and ice? If it is, there's some other threads pertaining to this. If not, I would like to know more.

paste ,-41.113532&z=6&t=h&hl=en into the URL after clicking the link.

I read the title hoping to ggod this was not a google earth thing... oy.

You do realise if this is real it is bigger than a #in fjord?! And what of the line directly parrallel to it?

I mean theres always a possibility theres a giant orange storage building in Greenland as big as like 6 cities, but wheres the probability?

Greenland Monolith

I hope my link above takes you to what you are looking for.

I have puzzled over this and wish I could hire a private satellite to zoom in on it.

Is there any other means to get alternate photography of this site from space ?

Here's a previous thread with video -
www.abovetopsecret.com...

In layman's terms I believe it's an anamoly created by missing data from satellite pics/feed (ie. it ain't there).

Yep, it's the same item that has been discussed before on ATS. However, I found out tonight as I was searching for a recent thread, the search function doesn't always give you the results you might have been searching for, but it just might reference you results from a few years ago that have nothing to do with what you are searching for. Oh, if only the search feature could read one's mind.

Checking other map services, like Yahoo and Bing maps, which don't use the same source images as Google maps, all I get is a field of white.

Now, whether that's just due to the heavy snow or not is up to you.
Yahoo
Bing
Personally, I have to use Google maps at work, and it's pretty poor. Pictures tend to be pretty dates, and same with address.

I've started this thread back here in the Neterlands about 6 or 7 months ago.
Well if you mean the gigantic orange like shape of a boat in the middle of greenland ?

I also was told, it's a satallite glitch, or people said they flew over it but it wassen't there.

But hé if it is a giant boat or monolith as you call it. It layed under the ice and snow for a long time. So a snowstorm can just as easilly cover it up again.

I think the edges and shape are to obvious to not notice.
Definitly not a naturule phenomena and a satellite glitch or whatever.
Is probably not gonna show somthing like that.

So mabye it's a fake. This case... I think it's not.

Similar glitches have been presented here on ATS, including one in South America's jungle, and one on the snow of Antarctica, as well as some in the ocean. It's a data matching problem. Looks cool, tho, don't it?

When you zoom in it seems pretty clear it's just a scanning/computer artifact. It's 50-60 miles long and when you zoom it has different color striated marks along the whole thing.

Hi there.

I'm sorry but i'm not completly sure about what you just said.

Do mean you think it looks real ? or is it a hoax ?

When i look at it, it looks to artificial or manmade, to be a glitch.

I,m a beginner at ATS and sometimes my english lets my down.

mind pointing us to those threads? or explain the data matching problem theory?

have you zoomed in on it? it looks waaaaaaayyy to detailed to be some type of glitch if you ask me. Also take a look at that black strip just south of the monolith? And to the direct left of that looks like...spiral formations in the snow?
