Mind-reading systems could change air security

As far as i've read it seems they are reading your body language and then reading your mind off of that.

Go watch the movie Blow and tell me if people can still get away with just having their body language read.

Mind reading is a big leap if it can be done.

This is an interesting subject, hopefully it won't come to fruition.

I found this particulartly disturbing.

Oh great. First of all, simply knowing that this technology is in place would certianly evoke "a darting of the eyes, an increased heartbeat, a nervous twitch or faster breathing" in me.

Furthermore, like many ATSers, I'm very familiar with a wide variety of esoteric (and sometimes sinister) symbols, despite the fact that I've had nothing to do with them. If I saw one in an airport, I'd be quite likely to "do a double take." Then I'd start sweating and my heartbeat would go up, then I'd realize it, then this would make the problem even worse....before you know it, I'd be a gibbering wreck in a little room, despite having nothing to hide.

Think I'll stick to rowboats and bicycles...

I think it is just people with flabby, out of shape brains and men with tiny cerebellums who are making all the fuss.

I myself have problems with severe anxiety, nervousness, things of that nature. I literally can't help it. Doesn't matter where I am, if I'm out and about, my heart will be approaching 100+ BPMs.

That would make me a suspect in an airport. This country deserves everything it gets, everything.
