The Nebraska Gambit: Balkanization, Step 1

The feds have the states bickering among themselves. The massive handout given to Nebraska has other states fuming. Imagine the glee at the federal level this causes. I would imagine this pointy stick is going to be jabbed all over the union. Even now we have California calling for their representatives to fight for their cut of the loot.

The balkanization of the USA is a fairly common theme in pop culture. Could this what I am calling "The Nebraska Gambit" be the first step in a very real plan to wreak havoc in the union?

The public has been trained to believe looting is a good thing.

Epic self-destruction of America is the only plausible outcome.

As profitable producers are taxed into oblivion and the money supply is debased at warp speed, the country will devolve into roaming bands of armed criminal thugs taking what they want at gun point.

You raise a very good point, It is possible they do not want a united front to stand against the federal government (state wise) they do not want to see CSA type of deal.
