As some of you have seen, I also did alot of analyzing on the nick berg video and pointed out several annomalies to it. Including something most people didn't see and thats that the spokesperson in the video's mouth isn't moving the way it should be.

What I didn't agree with and still don't, is that everyone seems to see a military cap apear when the "hand" comes into screen, the person propably holding the 2nd video cam.

I can perfectly see the hand and pinky holding the camera, but by all means, and trust me, I tried to see it, but for the life of me there is NO MILITARY CAP IN SIGHT.
What everyone keeps seeing as a military cap, I can only imagine to be the wall below the belly of guy thats cutting of bergs head, when he bends over to do the dirty deed.

If anyone could make a picture for me, pointing out, what they believe, is the head/military cap. Please do so.
So I can test to see if what I think everyone is seeing, is what I think your seeing and deforming, main reason for the deformation is that someone came up with the idea and way to many people around here and on the net are willing to see it, without looking closely for themselves.

I agree there is no ball cap in the frames. It is a pinky finger.

Concerning your statement about the mouth not matching. Please go to this thread and at the end of the original article is the video with the audio timing matched up. This appearance is eliminated when the audio is corrected.

Yep, thats what I see and all I see.
The yellow above the hand is what everyone seems to say is a desert combat standard military cap. But its just the wall.

Whats the image doing?
Its a gif, so it takes a sec to load. Is it showing a "no hotlinking" kinda msg or just loading slow?

I'm not talking about the audio/video not matching, I'm talking about lipreading. It might be the fact that I don't speak arabic, but the way a mouth moves should still match what is said and in that video it doesn't, even with the resynced video.

I'm still trying to clean up the video and enhance it to see if I can make up what is exactly said. I'm also looking for someone who can lipread, just like me, to see what the person is saying, without showing the audio to the person.

I could be wrong, because I don't speak any arabic language, but it just doesn't fit for me.

sorry but you can't do that !
this is a productfile that is crunched into a fileformat fit for the internet !

the original videotape (analogue) was captured on a computer (digital)
probably as a very big AVIfile but after manipulating the endproduct is just
a very raw thing.
you can not give the endproduct back the original quality of the big avi file because in the crunchingproces images have been left out.

and if you ask why they have not placed the big avi on internet i have to tell you that such an enormous file would not be possible to download by anybody, except if you take a full couple of days on broad bandwidth
and about a week if using a modem.

Did I say that I could restore it to its original quality? NO

And the file wouldn't be that big. Heck, I downloaded Multi Gig movie downloads before and they were up to 4 hours long.

but not in tv quality !

the soundtrack is on a different place on the timeline than the image is.

by crunching the motherproduct to an endproduct ready for internet
the missing frames (including sound) you can never ever restore again
in the endproductfile.

also bear in mind what type of camera was used to make the original videofootage !
european system 25 FPS pal
american system 29,7 FPS ntsc
what system did al-jazeera use to convert and edit before crunching the endproduct ?

you better arrange a videotape taped while tvnews was broadcasted and make yourself a digital version.
save frames as a neat BMP file and then you will have quality
