Britain bows to Isreal (just as all Western nation do)

The Attorney General could be given a veto over arrest warrants for foreign
leaders in an attempt to placate Israeli ministers who fear war crimes
prosecutions if they visit Britain.

Baroness Scotland of Asthal, who is in Jerusalem, discussed an amendment to
British law that would give her office the power to review arrest warrants
in private prosecutions against political figures, according to Foreign
Ministry sources.

Israel warned that a failure to resolve the situation soon would have
consequences for both countries.

...Obscene. Let em stand on their own two feet, they claim they can easily do it in that region often enough, so they dont need that sort of money.

As to the OP, why be scared of repercussions when according to them nothing 'warcrime' worthy actually happened. Sounds like a case of guilt induced fear to me, if they have justification, then they have nothing to fear.

Not true. one example is war with iran and hizballah. Israel's plan was to launch the war months ago, but the US pressured israel to look for alternatives.

British politicians go on more visits to israel than the rest of europe combined. The Israel Lobby is very powerfull in UK politics. There was a great documentary last year about th Israel lobby. I was never aware of its influence.

That's probably because Israel wouldn't exist if Britain didn't create it.
