Every year some places have record warmth, some places have record cold. It's called
WEATHER
Climate is all about long term trends. So, if over the next 30 years we see an increase in cold records and decrease in warm records it may well be
indicative of global cooling. Though ideally such records need to be fairly well distributed around the world. If one area is getting a lot colder
but a much bigger area is getting much warmer then ........ guess what
(and much of the N Hemisphere is not experiencing cold weather - take a look at Africa, for example)
(Obviously no-one on ATS would be stupid enough to think that global warming means that everywhere on the planet gets warmer every year, or that
global warming means places can't still have colder than normal weather, or even that some regions can't see short term cooling within a longer
term warming trend, would they?
