Wow , Race Card Much

Gang, let's face it... when the party losing the debate, in this case the Democrats, they have to resort to race baiting. The Jews invented and perfected the tactic with the whole "Anti-Semite" thing. The problem with the tactic is that more and more Americans are paying attention and employing some logic when evaluating the merits of the arguments being proposed - and more often than not, they are rejecting, outright, the silly obfuscations of ad hominem. In other words, the sleight-of-hand of race baiting is losing its effectiveness.

It pays to be realistic, and to have realistic expectations. He's our first black president, we know racism still exists and is likely inflamed, like all ignorance, by progress. It's rational to answer the racism, rather than overlook it or bury our heads and hope for the best.

We should be adults about our country. Most of us are not racist, but it would be the height of foolishness to ignore the ones who are. Who ignores an enemy like this? Better to face them down, in a united fashion, or at least support what we have going on, and stay involved.

I agree, it does pay to be realistic. Does racism exist? Yes, but using it as an excuse for all of your problems? Not everyone who dislikes him is a racist, some of us are fed up with him for entirely different reasons.

Bush was depicted as hitler(and other mad-men)in artists renditions
Bush was Hitler incarnate, not to mention his family is related to Hitlers

Bush robbed the poor and gave to the rich
Bush was best friends with OBL
Bush was a corporate puppet
Bush was racist
Bush was a war monger
Bush was a liar

This list could go on forever

Some of these sound familiar? They should
Just search this board or others or the net in general for "bush attack threads" or stories.

The question is

Was anyone who made these or other charges against Bush labeled as a racist? I know Bush is generally hated/disliked by most members on this board so I am sure alot of you made some of these remarks(including myself). Were you ever called a racist for it?

Whether some of these or all of them are true (antichrist is doubtful, but you never know). The point is, for making these claims the worst retort you probably recieved was being called un-patriotic or left-wing ____! etc

If a black person called bush the anti-christ, is he a racist?
But if a white person said it, then he's just crazy?

The OP points out yet another example of that warn out race card
wearing thin. It is peculiar to me, that white people either never or very very rarely ever played the race card on behalf of the black population. Since Obama came into the picture, they have handed out fresh race cards to the white population.

Perhaps the left leaning media is struggling with overwhelming white guilt. Or they simply cannot find any other response to Obama critics.

Personally, I'd have like to seen Romney, but he had that little problem with his religion. Opps, don't mention Obamas, may be racist to comment on it. As far as the name if anyone spent time on that one they were labeled a racist as well. The man got it handed to him on a silver platter.

Racism is impossible when it comes to Obama.
Unless you are Asian, or Jewish ( ATS says Jewish is a race) or whatever other races there might be--then you could be raciest against him----Black and white folks just can't be because he is exactly half of each race.
So if you hate one half of him it immediately gets canceled by the other half. People are just confused because there are way, way more white Asian and Jewish folks than black folks.

As evidenced by the thousands of posts on ATS, self described Patriots/Teabaggers state that the issue is not Obama's color, but that the system is broken. Obama is part of it so he is complicit, or a Puppet, or worse so they hate Obama as much as they hate the GOV. Therefore they want him out of office. If they are sincere, no problem. I disagree but I applaud your Patriotism. Bravo! For a hypocrite, or a Racist: It's easy to say I hate Obama because "give any reason except race", when in fact the problem is Color. Fact not speculation. Not easy to conclude, but possible to extrapolate a reasonable conclusion about, based on relevant factors.

Maybe you should stop by my latest thread and ask yourself if you are maybe guilty of labeling and placing me and everyone else in a box.

Obama has always been half white. You would think people would think deeper about these things. That's a lot more better than the completely insane excuses and rationalizations that don't include a factual component. (a real thing) You're a very advanced pursin in thinking.

Yours is just s little short-sighted, we can also say using the same logic, that anything said about Obama by any Black or any white is racist.

It's amazing, everybody knows better that Obama, but nobody wants to take the job in the thread.

Nobody wants to go to that thread because the very reason that it will end with the poster being chewed up and spit out.

I tried to post my positions on other threads and was accused of wanting to bring back slavery.

Will not go there because discussion is not wanted, the trolls will come out in droves to ridicule, obfuscate, and other tactics.
