- preserved consciousness
- sudden and inexplainable feelings of fear, anger, sadness, happiness or nausea
- experiencing of unusual feelings or sensations
- altered sense of hearing, smelling, tasting, seeing, and tactile perception (sensory illusions and/or hallucinations), or feeling as though the environment is not real or detachment from the environment
- a sense of spatial distortion--things close by may appear to be at a distance.
- déjà vu (familiarity) or jamais vu (infamiliarity)
- labored speech or inability to speak at all
- usually the event is remembered in detail
People with this disorder sometimes also have sleep disturbances, such as sleepwalking or lucid dreaming. If you do, you should really think about seeing a doctor again--perhaps a neurologist.

I couldn't find a description of preserved consciousness anywhere, so perhaps you'd care to elaborate on that one.
For the sudden inexplainable feelings, I really don't experience any kind of normal feelings during it. Unusual feelings or sensations: well, yes I suppose you could call it that.
Altered senses: Would heightened senses fall under that? It gives illusions and hallucinations as examples, but I've experience neither. The environment feels very real.
Déjà vu: again, don't experience this one.
I kinda feel like I'm just denying every explanation offered
I assure you, however. That's not my goal.

Yes, thank you sumo,
I do tend to try to get away from solutions I don't feel are correct, but I do realize you're apparently far more knowledgeable about this than I am.
I'll see about getting checked by a doctor again, but they haven't found anything before. Who knows, maybe that's all it is.
Isn't epilepsy usually associated with patterns of light or something to that effect? I think I heard that somewhere, but I don't know if it's correct.
