...Than i do for ANY govt or for that matter any govt official, to me these so called govt officials are disgusting pigs worthy of absolutley no respect.

At least members of organized crime have the balls to stand up and say [snip]you...I'm not doing it your way, I will not comply to your rules, and what gives you the right to make the rules to begin with?

These were true men, they didnt like the system so they opposed it...real men with really big balls and a really big 'free will' mind set...bravo!

People need to learn a lesson or two from these untouchables...you dont have to play by the rules enforced by the govt, they just prefer you did.

perhaps one day and i hope it's soon...we the people will stand up in the same way and say [snip] you to the tyrants, just as the much respected crime bosses did during the prohibition days.

What has the govt done for you latley?

2 stars and no replies?

C'mon guys, this thread's about having some balls, and I agree, that's exactly what people need.

Grow a spine people, stand up for yourselves and YOUR rights.

Nobody else is gonna stand up for yourself.

I have zero respect for organized crime. They are a cancer on society. They should grow up and learn to respect other people's rights and quit acting like spoiled little children who have to have things their own way. THE REAL MEN ARE THOSE WHO GO TO WORK EVERY DAY AND DO AN HONEST DAYS LABOR TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR FAMILIES. NOT SOMEBODY WHO EXTORTS MONEY FROM HONEST PEOPLE TO MAKE A LIVING because they are too lazy or uneducated to work an honest job.

In my opinion those who follow the way of organised crime are no better than the men who are elected criminals and followers of organised crime because both kill bystanders and both feed off the hard work of others and both work through instilling a very real system of fear.

Both types of illegal and legal organised crime destroy hope and all aspiration, trust and respect for life in their assailed communities because by feeding the drug trade or by feeding the prostitution racket the hopes and dreams of those that are destroyed and those that love the destroyed turn to bitterness and slowly but relentlessly social cohesion is weakened and ultimately destroyed.

Elected organised crime fools the young and the proud into following and believing in government and then government plays the caring father who knows best and then lies because the young have no reasons to think that their government is a self serving parasite that does not care about the grief of parents and the destroyed ideals and shattered bodies of the young. Even as those young and idealistic patriots get blown to bits or shot or maimed for the whims and ever changing rules of the game the lie continues in the name of the bottom line, the dirty buck and the mantra of “eyes only.”

One and both are as disgusting and as parasitical as the other and you cannot choose to respect one form of filth without choosing to respect another form of filth.

A gang war in a street and a young child takes a stray round through the skull and dies horribly in front of her father, sibling s and mother = no reasons for respect and just one example of the reality of organised crime when things go wrong.

I admire your passion but for me I think it is misplaced!

People who are too lazy or stupid to earn an honest living never have any respect for people who educate themselves and try to earn an honest living. Cry me a river dude.

Dude...I have been busting my ass working 45 hrs per week for over 25 yrs.
I am educated enough to make 6 figures btw.
Im sick of being over taxed, im sick of paying my mortgage knowing once it has finally been paid back it cost me 3x the principle for the deed, and im sick of how this govt is stripping me of my rights, and im sick of foolish people like you who seem to like taking it up the ass.

Perhaps you should get off your knees and WAKE UP.

If a person chooses to invest in crack even if it is really high quality crack the purchaser is not being a person to be respected.

The crack buyer is just part of the problem, a weak and damaged person who knows he is in the abyss and is thus striving to escape his reality by habitually, selfishly bathing his brain in poison.

At the same time he feeds the cynical machine of misery by giving his money to a hateful little parasite that would be just as happy to feed really high quality crack to a teen or the single mother who is so down on her luck she thinks getting high for a few hours will anesthetise her from pain for a time when in reality taking crack will be a short slippery slide into hell.

If you think the organised criminals of the past were any different I have to disagree with you because cross these “real men”, interfere with their business in any way then you, your family and your dog will end up dead and they would not even have batted an eyelid because at the end of the day and my future participation in this thread - a criminal then as now are the dregs of a society that in our present is already in extreme stress.

Respect, high ideals, pedestals and real men have nothing to do with the reality of organised crime in the past or in the present – they are all as complicit in murder and misery as is a government.

Just my opinions of course and maybe these organised criminals actually drop Christmas presents off at the local hospital when they are having a day off from selling crack to kids and stressed out single mothers!

Stranger things have happened I suppose

Maybe you should look at the music business for extorting honest people trying to make a living. I wanna watch these girls make movie after movie makin fun of my family and friends in code I can understand cause it was written for me. When is enough money enough, oh youve got to worry about competition. Or the tykes who have had their hands held and their @$* wiped without a real problem living cofortably in surburbia, maybe they can help you with youre delusions of organized crime. Here in America we all have freedom of speech and we all have to put up with each other. The kids who dont like watching MTV and win money and wanna rip people off and Capitalism where everyone can do whatever they want trying to make the most money. There are those who dont get an oppurtunity to live a life of life , liberty and pursuit of happiness , but dont think about that or get your hands dirty sitting on your pedastool destroying sith lords cause we watch too much MTV and cant see the people trying to make money off of car crashes as they drive by.

lets put it this way...Government = Highly organized crime syndicate.
They dont care about you or your family...the mob has more feelings than the govt hands down.

The govt sees you as just a number...at least the mob knows your name before they whack you.

In other words I have much more respect to ANY individual than I do for ANY Govt official.

Organised crime and the Government have been bed fellows for a very long time. Hell, there was even a time before we were acknowledged as the United States of America that there were same kind of act under takings with different Governments all over the world.

Government and Organized Crime, A History of Co-existence
Throughout history, there has been constant struggle, but also connection
between governments and organized crime. In addition, many world famous
political and military leaders have been accused of running their countries
like criminal organizations, for instance: Joseph Stalin,* *Adolf Hitler, Mao
Zedong, Nicolae Ceausescu, Idi Amin Dada, Manuel Antonio Noriega Moreno,
Augusto José Ramón Pinochet Ugarte, among others. Top government
politicians are believed to grow enormous wealth by running a kleptrocracy, a
government that extends the personal wealth and political power of
government officials and the ruling class at the expense of the population.

Organized Crime, The CIA and the Savings and Loan Scandal

The savings and loan scandal of the 1980s has been depicted in a myriad of ways. To some, it is "the greatest ... scandal in American history" (Thomas, 1991: 30). To others it is the single greatest case of fraud in the history of crime (Seattle Times, June 11, 1991). Some analysts see it as the natural result of the ethos of greed promulgated by the Reagan administration (Simon and Eitzen, 1993: 50). And to some it was a premeditated conspiracy to move covert funds out of the country for use by the U.S. Intelligence Agency (Bainerman, 1992: 275). All of these depictions of the S & L scandal contain elements of truth. But to a large degree, the savings and loan scandal was simply business as usual. What was unusual about it was not that it happened, or who was involved, but that it was so blatant and coarse a criminal act that exposure became inevitable. But with its exposure, three basic but usually ignored "truths" about organized crime were once again demonstrated with startlingly clarity:

www.thirdworldtraveler.com...&L_Scandal_CIA.html

If you Google organised crime and the governments involvement, you pull up all kinds of different accounts of proactive activity with Big Government and Organised crime figure's corresponding for the benefit of self gain.

"Bay of Pigs" is a great example, may have even played the tipping role to the assassination of JFK, but no one has absolutely proved that theory as of yet....

a veteran of CIA counter-espionage activities, was instructed to offer the Mafia $150,000 to kill Fidel Castro. The advantage of employing the Mafia for this work is that it provided CIA with a credible cover story. The Mafia were known to be angry with Castro for closing down their profitable brothels and casinos in Cuba. If the assassins were killed or captured the media would accept that the Mafia were working on their own.

As for the OP, I understand your position of thought, but if there was something to be exerted as a response to the over taking of big Government and all the other facilitated organizations, that would be truly a sight to see.
It has been going on for so long, the people involved think that their actions are normal, and that by the way would be considered either narcissistic or mentally ill incorrect thinking.

"Do we want this to stop?" sure, who wants to be taxed to death and the poor house.
"Do we wish for a more understanding and passionate kind of ruling Government?" Absolutely, one problem with that is it will always remain the same as far as "THEY" making the decision for the "WE's" of the world.

I suppose it has to start somewhere, and why not here on the ATS forums, from what I understand, "We have a lot of freedom thinkers here already!!"
