No, once again, I read your thread. I just don't happen to believe that a very large group will band together to take a stand against the government. The people don't know how to work together, and it will not work. The only reason the military works is because when you sign up, you sign away your individual rights. Your butt becomes theirs! The people are afraid, and I saw how they behaved in the recent G20 "protests." There is a huge crowd, with enough people to overrun the police, and yet, they all stand by and watch the few "brave" ones get beat with night-sticks, or hauled away. If the people had rushed the police, they could have overtaken them, pinned them down, and demanded to be heard... but they didn't. Like sheep, they stood and watched their few "unlucky" ones get the pain, and most of them were trying to figure out when it was time to run. No, the people are not trained to run into bullets, or to keep charging even though their eardrums are popping because of sonic weapons. History has shown that MOST people will unwillingly except slavery for a time, over certain death at the moment.

I mean, the phrase "give me liberty, or give me death" was such a rare idea and phrase, that we know who the ONE man was that said it... brave Patrick Henry! And remember, that was a time when people were hardened. They were used to cold winters, shooting guns, skinning animals, teeth pulled without painkiller, and a tyrant king that lived in another country.

Why don't you just get 5000 angry Americans who will storm into their senator's office and DEMAND, yes DEMAND that those Senators vote for the people? Just THAT would make a huge statement. And get those people to not march in all at once, but get them to march in 100 at a time, each on a different day, for a period of 50 days! The Senators will be shaking in their boots! Why are you so willing to reinvent something new when you have NOT tried to use the system that is there. Did you know that for most issues, members of congress don't hear ANY feedback from people? If they hear from a handful, it is considered major pressure!

It is far more costly to get people to fight with their lives than to get them to go into the offices of their representatives, well-prepared, and well-spoken, bringing their list of demands. Why don't you give that a try first? You do know that Washington and the other founding fathers exhausted ALL means of dealing with the king before they reluctantly took up arms. I have read their documents and they hated the idea of taking up arms. This was the LAST LAST LAST resort.

I know you have NOT tried to use the system to its fullest, so what right do you have to subject people to the worst possible outcome, when you haven't even tried to use the mechanisms of the constitution that you claim to love so much?

I would advise you rethink your position, and redirect your anger and frustration towards a careful plan of powerful advocacy and making your voices truly heard where it counts! It doesn't count on the streets of any city. It counts in the offices of the elected officials. And, you should also get people lined up who will be willing to run against those who are now there, and don't hesitate to tell them you have some very strong opponents to take their positions away if they don't do as you say.

Why don't you start in California with Nancy Pelosi? That woman really needs some strong redirection, so why not think like the enemy thinks, and get strategic. Find out what will motivate her, and dish it out to her. That is what a true patriot would do... use the system that was given by the founders! Use the system that you claim to love and want to defend.

Nothing can be done until half of this country realises what is going on with the government...... and that will never happen. A lot of people in America want the government to control what they do because they have no faith in themselves and can't do anything alone. Just over half of this country put obama in office, although his polls have gone down, there are still a lot of people blinded by this person they call their president.....he would be able to get people to rise against us and it would end up a battle. Maybe once some of these people see the light, then something can be done, until then I fear that it can't.

I must ask, what do you dislike about the constitution? Do you hate the fact that it offers you the freedom to build a life for yourself, or that it does not entitle you to the wealth that I have worked hard for?

The only reason that someone would not like the constitution is they are too simple minded to survive without a large government. These are people that are leaches on the back of the people that work hard long hours to become succesful.

Your words offend me. If you want to live in a country that denies freedoms, and minimaly supports its people. MOVE TO CHINA OR CUBA because you are not wanted here. We love the ideals that this country were founded not because of the goods or services they promise us but the limits they place on government.

Allow me, please, to address that:

Starred and flagged a few days ago. I agree that we must reconcile the powers into their rightful place.

Here is a suggestion and something that I am starting this week as time permits.

I will be approaching several small business owners in my area and presenting the materials that I propose to be printed on a monthly or biweekly schedule and set out for free distribution at local, frequented businesses. As a small business owner I feel confident that most will be willing to contribute.

The material will detail bills, house resolutions, voting records, conspiracies with factual support and whatever else we can find that will peak the interest in those in my area. The core purpose being waking people up and providing the information that MSM fails to.

I plan to contact We The People and ask for their permission to spread their information as well. In case you do not know We The People is the organization who has formed the Constitutional Congress and have elected representatives from all states and is setting up the frame work for restoring power to its rightful place.

They have followed the necessary procedures and are a legitimate organization. They have filed petitions for redress of grievances and received no answer.

They are, in my opinion, the only organization that has any merit in regards to reorganization if necessary. As well, they have followed the law and are not going to be easily labeled as terrorists or a whack militia group, as the desired results are for the constitution to be obeyed and not replaced or modified.

In due time, I will be posting here what we have done and will offer support any way we can. If we find another organization that already does this we will simply support their efforts.

During my early years (from 13 to 24… yes its young but I saw the world as it was and not how it was told to be) I had the same fire in me... I would talk to as many people as I could, where ever I could, I would protest (peacefully) when and where ever possible. Write letters to my government officials asking for representation on their behalf (each hand written letter they receive makes them presume at least 100 other people feel they same way). what happened you ask... I was criticized and labeled as a "libertarian", a "socialist", a "communist", a "terrorist" by the same people I was trying to do good for (which being labeled as such was not a bad thing in my opinion, but my opinion vs the brainwashed popular opinion differs greatly)...

Do you really think the people that live above the poverty line (and NOT paycheck to paycheck) want to loose a good thing when they got it? If you think that, then make sure to pass over whatever it is your smoking, cause I want some.... Not to mention at least 3/4 of the people that do live paycheck to paycheck are so brainwashed and/or so beaten down that they would kill their fellow Americans to keep the current system which they believe is the best in the world.

On this same note, what’s the real reason behind your decision to become outspoken? Did you loose big on one of the markets (stocks, housing, 401k, etc.). It has to be something financial or else you would still be complaisant… (and if you’re the 1 out of ever 100,000 people that finally woke-up… congratulation, enjoy the ride.

Keep your head up and get involved, to really make a difference you need people in office that know the law, and know politics. Downisreallyup; Very well said. The real change that needs to occur is human awareness in general. This has to be a cultural shift, and we will never volunteer to change as radically as is required. Environmental/financial catastrophe will leave us without choices, and we will eventually be taken down a notch or two. We will eventually have to adjust to the new reality that we are presently creating. I predict that within the next generation, we will see a war, not over oil, or politics, but over water.
Someone asked the OP in a previous post: Does your plan require a belief in god? I haven't seen that question answered.
I saw that my original post was generally ignored, which is fine, but I'll posit this concept again, and we'll see if you answer; Who says "We" need a master? Who says "We" must be governed? What about self-governance? What about the true principle of State's Rights? Individual states are passing laws right now that are being usurped by the federal government. All I really sense from your plan is that when it all goes down, you want to be the guy(s) in charge, because you have the most fire power, and because you alone have the balls to pull the trigger. Downisreallyup is correct: You can't blindy fight a superior force, and obviously, you've overlooked people like me. And I am cetainly not alone. Consider that if you will.

What in the hell are you talking about? I plagiarized something, and ruined it, thank you very much? Where, and from whom do you think I stole this from? Because I guaran-damn-tee I didn't steal this from anybody. I have been thinking about this for a very long time. As a matter a fact I can go back almost a year ago, or maybe over a year ago, where I mentioned the Law of 13 way back, here on ATS. I threw it out there back then just to see how people would react. I can go find it if you would like, but I would really love to see who else has posted this concept. I would not be surprised if someone else created something like this as well, I mean a great idea is a great idea, even though I have never read about this concept before I created my version of it.

Now, why the hell didn't you ask me questions before you start throwing around accusations or assumptions? Not only is that incredibly rude, it makes you look like a dumbass! Come on, are you serious? It should be no surprise we rarely make any progress, with assumptions like that everyone is suspect and no one is worthy.

Have you looked into their efforts, I suspect not hence the comment? We have to start somewhere and this org started long ago fighting against the gov’s attempt, and success, at laying the foundation for complete control. Their attempts for reconciliation are numerous and from what I gather the most substantial and genuine.

Yes there is room for corruption and no matter who it is that is attempting to restore liberty, they must be governed by the people. Fortunately that is this organizations desire, as it has been. Ive been watching them for several years now and the invite is always open to join, support and contribute.

They have the most solid chance out of any other org I have seen to restore our freedoms lost to a gov run off course, and their efforts are not to topple the current gov but restore it to its rightful place.

The OP sounds like he'd merge well, maybe after a cool off period.

And I have a problem being taken seriously... How ridiculous. Gather is a place I treat with the same type of seriousness I have here on ATS, and that's very little especially when it came to politics. The Internet is a game of words, you do realize that right, or are you truly one of those simple people who believe just because you posted it on the web, the world instantly changes.
