The Moon
doesn't really look like that -- the colors in that image are over-saturated. The colors are really there, but they are much more
subtle than that image shows. The Moon actually looks mostly grey to the human eye -- the color is difficult to discern, even if you were in lunar
orbit.

They are beautiful pictures -- And they ARE real. However, the colors you see in the images are not the colors that a human eye would see if they were
actually next to one of these objects looking at it.
The colors are are "real things", but they would not be part of the visible spectrum. For example, they would take the image under using various
wavelengths invisible to humans, then assign colors to those invisible wavelengths. The use of different wavelengths makes some invisible-to-humans
materials visible.
HOWEVER, having said that:
