From what I understand, Operation Green Rx was an excuse for San Diego prosecutors to go after drug users. They say they limited to who they go after, but appears their recent loss in court exploited the fact their prosecution crossed the line by far.

Stop Operation Green Rx and San Diego ASA have fought against Operation Green Rx, which is lead be Bonnie Dumanis. (San Diego's District Attorney!!!)

In this next video, you can watch as she lied through her teeth about who she goes after, and the proof of the lie was the video above:

Now some stories go unnoticed because the police haven't released the details. The case above does raise quite some suspicion to what happened in N.Y. where a lady hung herself immediately after arrest:

The woman was found unconscious and hanging from the front of the cell, with a pair of pants around her neck, about 45 minutes after being brought in. A police official said the woman had been arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.

If you wonder why these people would hang themselves instead, surely they are at a point where they would use these drugs to cure their pain instead of suffer in pain. People who suffer in pain are suicidal -- not that they want to commit suicide but they don't want to live in pain. If their options are taken away, it can't be unexpected.

Another related case earlier this year, to show what is probably going through that person's mind when they hung themselves and just how they would suffer:

After having been convicted of federal marijuana law violations, he goes to court for sentencing Monday, where he faces a mandatory minimum five-year prison sentence and the possibility of up to 100 years behind bars.

Lynch did everything by the book. Before opening his business in April 2006, he first contacted the DEA, which eventually told him it was "up to cities and counties" to decide about dispensaries. He also sought and received all necessary business permits from the city of Morro Bay.

It's way more than obvious now the type of "unjust prosecution" and brutality the law enforcement and district attorneys have taken on non-violent drug users. Please don't respond to this thread about legalization itself. That is a different conspiracy such legal vultures & brutes have hid behind to protect themselves and their ways of prosecution -- until now!

Now, it would be hard to say this next piece is totally unrelated, but I haven't come up with anything polite to say to explain how it is related:

DC cop draws gun after his Hummer draws fire from SNOWBALLS! CNN's Jeanne Moos has amateur video of the confrontation.

Maybe I can just say three words: "War on Drugs?"

I seem to remember seeing cases before where pharmacies had received state licensing to sell medical marijuana over the counter. Then they find themselves raided by joint agency taskforce SWAT teams and hauled off to jail. Seems federal wishes trump state law!

Seriously though, this is why the whole "war on drugs" is such a farce. There is too much money to be made, from the agency taskforces and their big budgets, to the private prison system, too many people with big taxpayer funded budgets to protect.

What's different in this case is that it was the State/County's District Attorney (that got caught lying through her teeth) and with no fed involvement.

District Attorneys have been untouchable, until this.

We better go check and see what those snowballs are made of. Those carolers were just way too happy. You know Mr. Detective had to find some excuse for probable cause.

EDIT: I fixed the link, forgot to remove the facebook router.
