Exactly what I was going to say, except I will be here. I think it would be interesting to see how people who actually believe in the end approaching will be behaving during that time.

It is a shame how the media and government have portrayed 2012, like with most things it will become one of those things that if we don't do something the world will end like in the movies. Problem reaction solution scenario. What i am more concerned about is what are they going to come up with between now and then to force people in to submission and to doing exactly what they want, most people are controlled by MSM, so they have the tools to do it, and if one is to accept some of the conspiracy theories, there is a lot coming our way that we will have to determine for ourselves if its true or not. Will we have disclosure by then, and that's how the planet will be saved? Will we have the second coming as predicted? will the Antichrist be real and show himself (though i think that ones a bit late now he should have done that years ago) Or will it be nothing. we just carry on like we do today?

I for one hope the world doesn't end, i have my children and i love them dearly my first grandson is being born as i type, so would like to think they will have a long and healthy life ahead of them. I like to think the corrupt governments and elite of the world will be exposed by then, and the world will be a peaceful and safe place for all to live in harmony, with no war, etc. but one can only wish, we need to sort out the problems of today to even get to 2012, and we seem to be struggling a bit, don't we?

All this hype is because some guy wrote a book and he interpreted some pictographs.

The Mayans today say he was wrong in his interpretation.

It is just the end of a cycle.

It is going to be no difference than what will take place on new years eve.

It'll be insane. I only hope the moderators will be able to keep those topics in the 2012 forum where they belong!
Although you would think that if people truly believe something huge is going to happen then they will have better things to do than sit and ATS chatting away to complete strangers!

The only thing I'll be looking forward to is the large influx of 'Im an alien/light being/garden gnome and I have an important message to give you' type threads. Oh and any people that try and pedal ascension gear i.e. reinforced tin-foil hats, light being welcome banners and 'I went to nibiru and all I got was this lousy tshirt' tshirts.

I'm looking forward to watching Jesse Ventura's show about 2012. Curious what his take is and what he decides to talk about in roughly 40 minutes. Even he said that it scared him.
I'm thinking that 2010 alone is going to be rough going and scary enough with talk even from bigwigs about another attack in the U.S. combined with further economic deterioration and growing social upheaval.
Time will tell as always.

I hope to be blind, deaf and mute by then. I will have slept in many fires, danced in many skies, stood on many stones, and laughed louder than last time.

I hope I am here. It would be bad news if I missed it due to something as mundane as ww3, flood or a giant lump of coal hitting us on the head.

I am sure something will happen, but not as in at 11.11 on dec 21st 2012 the world suddenly ends. There has to be many trials for us from now till then so maybe come the 2012 date those that are left will be wishing for an end to it all.
