A meaningless statistic. That "60%" includes me. I oppose the current bill. Why? It does not create a single-payer system. There is no public option. It does not strip the insurance companies of their antitrust protection. It is not Universal Healthcare. You can't just say X% of people polled are opposed and stop there. You have to ask why.

Another reason why this statistic is invalid is the well known fact that most young liberals (the majority who elected Obama as POTUS) do not have land lines and will not be reached by pollsters. The results of such polls are therefore skewed.
