I believe someone claimed that galaxies depicted exactly what BBT predicts...which BBT predicts very old galaxies would APPEAR to be unevolved....which, we've already discussed....and they do NOT appear that way....

Well, technically it does and you don't really seem to understand the complexities and implications of the theory fully at this moment. You really need to read more, perhaps learn how to understand the material. Ask questions to thing's you don't understand and listen to those explanations with an open mind rather than argue against them because of some unfounded biased opinion you may have. Both Fox and I have attempted to explain, in the best possible way either of us know how, that your argument(s) is/are invalid, wrong and ill conceived.

Just to reiterate my opinions on this matter. I am not being closed minded here because it may appear that I am arguing in favor of BBT by backing up Fox. I am simply backing up Fox because he is correct in what he is saying irregardless of my own opinions of the theory. It would be arrogantly stupid of me to back pat you and equally attack his statements just because we both do not subscribe to the BBT.

my statement concerning galaxies exhibiting unevolved characteristics was directed towards an earlier statement that I believe was based off of misinterpretations of my statement.

I suspect you are both mistaking 'evolved' for 'mature'.

A mature galaxy is one that has been around long enough for its giants to have disappeared and settled down to a quieter life of operating its smaller stars. Galaxy formation would have started fairly early, giants only last a million years or so, so mature galaxies could easily appear within the couple of billion years time frame indicated by the phenomenon being discussed here.

An evolved galaxy on the other had is one that has been around long enough to change from one form to another. For example elliptical galaxies are thought to be formed by the collision of two spiral galaxies.
