Guantanamo Detainees Will Be Moved to Illinois

WASHINGTON -- Taking an important step on the thorny path to closing the U.S. detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the White House plans to announce Tuesday that the government will acquire an underutilized state prison in rural Illinois to be the new home for a limited number of terrorist suspects held at Guantanamo.

Administration officials as well as Illinois Sen. Richard Durbin and Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn will make an official announcement at the White House.

Well, what I read from this development, is that President Barack Obama is trying to keep his promise of shutting down Guantanamo, by transferring it's prisnors onto U.S soil.

Unfortunately it wont make the slightest difference to the prospects of these unlawfully detainted prisoners, because under Obama the United States itself has become nothing more than the latest pawn in a One World Government Global dictatorship, and as a result, these prisoners will simply continue to be abused and tortured in much the same way, as what they experienced in Guantanamo.
