The Holy Spirit helped me shed those fears. If we live in fear that God is not going to be the one leading, of course then, one would clinge to a book instead of seeking true experiences.

How do you know your book has not been a trick? If you fear being tricked, how do you know you have not been?

The way I know, is the nature of what I am being taught. I dont fear a Satan...I trust in God. I believe I have been shown that the true thing we are to be cautious of is what the world of material things leads us to be. This is why the most important thing is not being attached here to temptations of the flesh.

Do you really think God would be allowing this outside source to mislead people? And if Thee did....then whos fault is it that they believed such things? We are not punished for what we do not know.

How did all of the ones in the Bible know they werent being misled? What makes you so sure to place your faith in them, banking your very soul on what they say?

We must discern natures. This is what it all comes down to. Knowing a seed by its fruit, knowing the tree from its vine.

You see right there is where there are problems.

Everyones idea of TRUTH does not mean it is THE TRUTH .Everything cant be THE TRUTH .And NONE Of us hold all the truth and none of us can find the real truth because we have so many ways of thinking what truth COULD BE >

Badmedia thinks Paul was a false apostle and that he was the leader of the peoples who rules over mankind today (the Gov and the Church leaders who are wicked and do want to literally rule over mankind in a bad way ).
Just because he misinterprets THE TRUTH in the scriptures where Paul was trying to show others that the law was put here for our good and if we did not steal kill etc the law would not be held against us .But if we do not do what is right and good then it is used as a ROD against us .(This is our choice we can obey the laws of the land and it will go well for us or we can disobey the laws of the land and it wont go so good for us ) ......
PS >If we respect the law ..the law will respect you (thats pretty darn simple if you ask me ) .Do I agree with every law ?No I think there are way too many laws for everyone to possibly even keep .... Do innocent people get in trouble with law ? Yes they do but usually its for a reason (and possibly has nothing to do with justice etc ...it happens and usually that person is taught some very important things while going through something like that (I learned alot while I was being beaten to a pulp every day for five years by my ex husband) It actually made me a better person having to endure such hard things (I know that sounds crazy but its true).

Others thinks that truths are a bunch of different things (like reincarnation is truth, the holy spirit is really just the human spirit being pure etc etc).

Everyones truths are different .But not everything people thinks is truth is really truth .

You were told the bible was truth my man, and you believed him, not truth
.

I picked this book up not because man told me it was truth, but Because I was dieing and this was my only hope left. The words I read saved me spiritually and the prayers I prayed saved me physically. So please, don't tell me how I come to know the Bible as truth.

And I should look at it as I am not worthy of the same experiences as men in the Bible were...such as having dreams that show me things.

Well that is good to know, because I have had many dreams show me things....I now need to know I am not worthy of such things. (yeah right, you can try to take away my spiritual birth right...but it wont work).

The only way you could know what choice you would make, is to have such an experience. I have no need to place my total faith in what another man wrote word for word....but I do have faith that I can find within books, other men that lived with a Spiritual nature over the nature of flesh.

Can you show me an example of something I have said that makes it look like I support a path of service to self?

I think we are about "service to self" - in a way. I'm not talking about behaviors and actual physical acts.

We are on our own quest for spiritual perfection - pure light - pure love. It is in evolving our own consciousness that we understand the love of service to others.

Those who live in Fear of God - - who act in fear of punishment - - are not understanding pure light.

Those who "give to others" because its in god's commandments - - are not understanding pure light and unconditional love.

Are you a profit ?

Your confusing having dreams with being in the spirit. God only gives profits the right to interpret dreams correctly.

Have you read much Dr Seuss, it really touches the spiritual core of humanity.

Hello Annee,

Sure, I can agree with that. How can we understand the purpose of being service of others till we know the self.

I think while we are seeking 'perfecting the self' and how to do this...we will learn that the path of living for others is perfecting us, like a evolving as you said.

Along the way, the self is not the concern....the will becomes a will to live for all the other selves.

My father taught me alot about living for others, and he has no belief in faith really. He just has this natural nature to him that he always does for everyone around him, even if it means in the end there is nothing left for him. He would rather know that everyone else got their choice of food from the table, even if this means he is only left with what remains on the table, instead of what he would of chosen to have from the table.

The service to self can become negative though, so caution is needed. There are many that serve their own pride, greed, hate, and jealousy....without considering how this effects another person.

Where I think it is most dangerous....is when someone is only seeking salvation for their own self and not worrying about the others. I say this life is about the ALL...not any 'self'.

Have you ever heard of a little factor called good and evil? where does this fit into your equation?

You can deny yourself of such things....or you can foster hope in that you can do even greater things.

It is your choice.

God doesnt have favorites. God is fair and we all have the exact same abilities, to reach some of those abilities, we must have a certain lifestyle and understanding why to have such a lifestyle.

There are no chosen ones...sorry to say. This would create pride, which is not a spiritual nature.

I am not fearful of the Lord (I LOVE HIM VERY MUCH) and I know he loves me.
But I do certainly respect him and I know as a Father he wont just sit by and take it if I chose to turn and go the opposite direction of him .

I am also not afraid of satan .in fact he may be somewhat afraid of me now .*(Because he cant tempt me into the things he used to be able to tempt me into before and because he knows I can take alot and wont die in spirit)
Since he has not been able to beat me down SPIRITUALLY (he used others to beat me physically and a few other times mental abused me) for so long hopeing he could break my spirit but HE LOST because I HELD ON .(because of the LORD keeping me safe and strong in spirit and in body)............
I could have left those men but I was young, stupid and FAITHFUL (was gonna make things work no matter what the cost was) ...........
And I didnt get bitter because of it all (satan was sure hopeing that would happen)if I was bitter and angry and hateful and vengeful because of all that then he would have beaten me .Instead It went the opposite (it caused me to forgive,to not hate, not be revengeful and the most important thing was to love those who know not love but hate *(like my exes) etc) ....................

Extremely well put LV

But if someone is truly in the Light - I don't think its so much "serving others" - - as it is "Enveloping Others".

I think/energize from the Light. All my thoughts come first from the Light - then to the physical need.

I "envision" (for lack of better word/descriptive) loving angel wings reaching out and enveloping humanity.

I don't see the physical giving - - I feel the enveloping - - like angel wings coming from my heart energy.

LOL - I know not everyone understands that - - but I believe you and Badmedia do.

I do not subscribe to Good and Evil.

I subscribe to Positive and Negative energy.

Physical worlds are an illusion - - like a computer game.

Thought behind an action is more important then action itself.

If thought/reason is in positive energy - - - what may seem like a negative action in the physical - - - may not be.

There is a big difference between knowing thyself, and being selfish. If you do not know yourself, then how can you ever expect to understand that which is greater? Do you also try to understand the forest before understanding the tree?

How can you love others as you love yourself if you do not love yourself? If you have no love for yourself, then you will surely not show it to others.

Everyone has love for themselves, and we should not push them down because of it.

The error comes when we elevate ourselves to the point where we put ourselves over others, to try and control others, and to use others for our benefit. That is selfishness and completely different than knowing thyself and having love for self.

But a person in no way should lower themselves for others. In NO WAY. There is a difference in being humble, and having/teaching self hate. Jesus was considered humble, and look at what he said. He was humble not because he put himself down, and not because he hated himself. He was humble because he did not put himself above others. Thus why he says those who are greatest among you will be servants. Because they do not put themselves above others.

Imagine if Jesus had instead put himself down for the comfort of others. Wouldn't have been a very bright light at all.

Think of it as a line with 2 sides. You do not want to be on either side of the line, but on the line. If you shrink down and ignore/hate the self then you are below that line. And in doing so, you deny all that the father has given you, and the father within. If you go above that line, then you then start to deny it in others, and the father within them.

Greetings oliveoil:

Like your new avatar. If it isn't too personal or too difficult for you to discuss I would like to hear about your almost dieing experience.

I will completely understand if you do not wish to share it.

Peace to you,

I think you are a bit confused here. There is only one truth but the paths to get to that truth are many. When I said "your truth" I mean your path towards this truth. The truth is one and everything in the universe is one meaning only one truth. Everyone that is awakened understands this.

You also seem to not understand that laws are created by man. I disagree with Bad when he speaks about the commandments, or it could be that he isn't really explaining it well in it's relations between man law and just natural law of this truth. You don't follow laws because you're told to follow laws, you follow laws relevant to your journey towards truth. Laws are legislated for control purposes designed to keep you in check.

I think what BM was talking about was natural universal law, when he was speaking of these commandments. You don't follow them because your told to, you follow them because you're thoroughly enlightened. If you have to follow a law because you're told to without even questioning it(or anything for that matter), you are not on the quick path to enlightenment.

I'm not going to try and invalidate your experience if that did indeed happen, so I'm glad that worked out for you.

If you did need the bible to pull yourself through that time that you preceived you might die, then there is nothing me or BM(mr. seed planter) can do for you here.

The commandments become clear when you start to look at how people have to act towards each other in order for their to be a truly peaceful and free society.

It's not like something read them down the list and said "these are the laws". They are really just kind of "common sense" once you start to understand.

The movement from written law to understanding was the "new convent" of Jesus. The "old convent" was of written law. And the new convent of Jesus was to love god, and love one another as thyself(the understanding behind the written laws). If you have the understanding, then you don't need to memorize the written laws, you will do so on understanding. But you will still keep the commandments even though it's not because they are written law.

In doing so, it also separates the laws of men from the true universal law. Where as with written law, they were able to add on laws and such without problem because the people did not understand the reasoning behind the laws.

Make sense?
