N.O.R.A.D Santa Tracker

I saw a commercial on T.V about this about a couple of weeks ago. I never heard that NORAD was doing this for years before. So what is it that NORAD is trying to do here?

So far all I see is just made up a site for the kids to play games on, and to make up a bunch of BS of the Santa that they are tracking. Could it be a way for the U.S to spy of what's going on in the Arctic? (That is in Russia's territory)

I'll keep a close eye on this one!

Its for kids and santa how can you read into this any more then that?

We do this every year. Its a totally made up site that tracks santa's path around the world. There are pre recorded updates every 15 minutes or so and has games and other fun stuff on it.


It is one of my son's favorite christmas eve activities.

Ya this has been around for a while, nothing suspicious about it.
I believe that it is actual updates of where Santa is!

if NORAD has the tech to track a mythological fairytail being, can you explain why is it there is no record of them EVER tracking ANY type of UFO activity?

I mean c'mon, puuleEEase!

And don't give me any of that govt coverup BS, we all know for a FACT; if the govt says something it is the absolute TRUTH! Ours is a democratically elected government and they would never lie to us EVER!

Dude, it's just a bit of fun. If you read the background, it started many, many moons ago when a little girl rang the Commander of NORAD and asked him where Santa was. Since then, it's been a tradition, something for the kids to enjoy and make Christmas that little bit more magical for them.

Lighten up...

As for spying on the Arctic, they can do that anyway and have been for years, the Russians know this and spy there too. No need to cover it up, that is after all what NORAD is supposed to be doing, among other things.

Some people really should just take a deep breath and lie down. There really isn't a conspiracy in everything, you know.

They do track Santa and have a little weed garden outside the compound.
That way they can stare directly into the sky waiting for him to wave
and have a smoke!

Hello, it's all in fun. You didn't know about this? Where the heck have you been? Long before the internet, you know, way back in the way back times of the 1950's, the times where my family finally got a TV set, there were Santa Trackers. It's amusement. We have all amused ourselves since the really way back times of living in caves, with fire pits, telling scary stories about night sounds, or giving hope to each other.

Can we actually use technology for fun? For sure we can.

Was it a conspiracy concerning Easter in 1992, and I went to Wal-Mart, and asked the manager to provide candies and prizes, for free for the children of the soldiers in my battalion, for an Easter Egg Hunt? I suppose the real conspiracy story was that Wal-Mart responded positively to my request.



It's fun and games. It's for the kids. Lighten up, Francis.

I remember growing up as a kid there was always a news report saying that Santa was flying over our area soon and that got kids into bed real quick!!! BTW, I am 50 now and the new online version is pretty cool but its meant for little kids. And it also teaches you about other countries as well. They do their best to explain how different cultures celebrate Christmas.

I shared this info with a friend of mine in England a few years ago and she showed it to her two youngest daughters and everytime that Santa flew close to the screen they waved at him!! The girls were all of 6 or 7 yrs old at the time.

But its a cool thing and a nifty tool to use to get kids into bed on Christmas Eve.

Look anyone knows that Santa is an alien, his sleigh is a spaceship and the reindeer are drones. His mission is to distribute mind numbing computer games. TPTB have been on his tail for many years. I heard it from a friend who heard it from another friend who heard it on You Tube....

In recent months, other details have emerged in documents recently declassified by the Department of Defense that describe the retrofitting of Santa's sleigh with advanced anti-radar technology. The centerpiece of Santa's Sleighborne Tactical Defense System (SSTDS) is a high-tech state-of-the-art system known as a Suppression of Enemy Air Defense, or SEAD, system. "Santa Claus undoubtedly utilizes a special type of radar called a `low probability of intercept' radar, which is similar in many respects to the synthetic aperture radar used by NASA," said the expert, who still refused to give his name. "Its purpose is to reduce the probability that Santa's sleigh will be tracked and possibly inadvertently attacked by our antimissile target acquisition systems."

Oh.. Haven't been watching much T.V. Yeah out of my lifetime that's the first time that I've seen that commerical.

But honestly there's gotta be more than just tracking Santa. It's a distraction. They say "Hey look it's Santa" and we turn our heads of where they are pointing, it's all control man. In todays reality that is.
