I just boycott Christmas season in general except for sending an Alaskan Calendar to friends in Australia through amazon.com. I avoid shopping between the beginning of November and mid January except online. Can't handle the crowds and want nothing to do with fighting for merchandise.

Waiting in line for hours before a store opening is insane. I don't get that at all.

As far as boycotting any store in particular, there isn't one. All stores. I don't buy into (no pun intended) the materialism of Christmas. My husband buys some stuff online and I say "Merry Christmas." I buy stuff I want online and he says "Merry Christmas."

Hint: If you order something from amazon and send it to a business address, it will arrive in half the time compared to sending it to a residence or POB address.

I do boycott those companies who charge extra charges to send stuff to Alaska and Hawaii. Hello, Alaska is part of the continential USA.

Because of things like this:

Where else could you see stuff like this? I love going to Walmart and stand around looking for people who are so oblivious to how they look. It's hilarious. Though...I'm not sure why Walmart is such a big deal. Can someone explain this?

Walmart is blacklisted in our family. It represents enslavement for a good deal. We already told our family no plastic junk from China this Christmas. We are going to focus on giving this year.

We are also boycotting GMO foods and are buying all Farmer Owned Meats and produce. It feels good to stand up for the small guy.

I've noticed the Organics selection is getting better and...The taste man...My god the taste!!! I forgot what real food tasted like.

Walmart is the poster child of globalism. It fosters the fear of losing choices. Now it's convenient. Tomorrow it may be the only place. It is an easy example for people to use because it is the very visible one. The retail monopoly of all the staples, and the individualism it destroys as we are assimilated. With every small business that closes when a Walmart opens, a choice is gone. People are forced to sell their properties and get out of the way. Small quiet neighborhoods become high traffic short cuts to the growing strip where the giant chain restaurants and pet stores, etc. show up. You know the usual suspects.

Seriously? It's a ****ing store. You people are thinking WAY too in to this. I just don't see how it's a problem until Walmart becomes global. When I see a Walmart here in Japan, then I'll jump on the bandwagon with hate and discontent about it. Until then, I'm still gonna go to Walmart when I'm bored and it's late and I have nothing better to do and I'm still gonna steal from Walmart. Yes, that's what I do when bored. I go to Walmart and see what I can steal.

i am gonna boycott boycotting.

the economy is in the crapper. and soon money wont be worth anything. might as well wait for them to round us up under by watching my new 60 inch tv.

i dont see why i have to pass up savings to prove a point.'

you can live in your cave with no running water and eating bear meat.

i will be eating hot pockets (because they are awesome) and playing my xbox on a large tv. i doubt you will be as happy as me.

just cause a few people will refuse to buy something will not change anything.

go ahead be an optimist and try anyway. ill stick to my pessimistic views if it means i get to enjoy myself. life is short enjoy the little things.

That's it. I'm boycotting boycotting the boycotting boycott. Walmart was the only place in town that had any posterboard for my signs.

Big Oil and Genetically modified foods. I am going to picket in front of the Monsanto corporation dressed as a tomato shaped jellyfish in order to show them that the world sees their lies. After that i will do an interpretive dance portraying cancer in front of Exxon Mobil and proceed to fill up my gas tank with pictures of dead babies.

But seriously, I'm just not going to pay my taxes. I'd rather go to jail than have my money used to fund wars and political parties i do not agree with.

guess it still begs the question which "holyday" you want to boycott, theres probobly more then 70 holy celebrations which over/inter lap each other for atleast 100 days forward, i my self intend to celebrate this season of festivities the way i always have during the later end of the 12 month calendar

sacrificial animal feast
the trading of gifts

today i celebrate independence day,
taking my family out for a nice meal and making a bonfire for the fallen when night falls.
