Tony Hawks pimps climate change in copenhagen

i hope that worked, i very much doubt it tho.

basically tony hawks is asking for us regular folks to send quesitons and stuff in to be presented at the climate change conference..

NOW... i doubt any of the negative questions about climategate or falsified data would get through, but maybe if enough of us posted stuff in they wouldnt be able to see the forest for the trees? derail the pimping moves of skateboardings biggest hero and the puppet masters who control him!

Tony Hawk is a sk8tr Boy slacker that did well for himself. He has as much validity as a kindergartener at best.

Just another way to set the kids against the parents!

first off..from following tony hawks career for as long as i can remember, this makes me sad. It made me sad when he started making video games (less sad when i played them and they were pretty much the most decent "sports" video game around) and it made me disappointing when he started pimping a clothing line, but this takes the cake for me.

Let me explain...

Tony Hawk is responsible for me having the question authority mindset that I have today. He is a skateboarder, and as we all know, skateboarding represents anarchy, destruction, and over all shifty eyes at the man.

Now he is working with the man it seems in a way bigger than he ever has.

Sorry...this was a bit of a rant, but he is a hero of mine. I would sit through hours of down right crappy X Games for the 5 minutes of him on the half pipe. Sad when your hero's fall i guess.

Well, since not many will take Gore seriously now, it seems TPTB have a new spokespuppet. Trying to brainwash the younger generation.

I suppose it's easy for him to pimp global warming and feel like he is standing on the "higher ground" when his main form of transportation is a skateboard.

Climate Change is the in thing being promoted by dollars.
Just like skate board dollars at one time.

He's also raking in heaps of money for Activision with their pricey new tony hawks video game with a peripheral that doesnt even work. Then they paid a tonne of reviewers to say how amazing the game is. Anyone who knows anything about the games industry will know how Activision are a bunch of corrupt corporate blood suckers who want to suck as much money out of the games industry as possible. Im a fan of Tony Hawks and he has done a lot for the sport but he is being made a fool of.
