Im on the sidelines on this whole phenomena.

Although the ones that are undeniably hard to reproduce artificially, i tend to believe are a kind of hieroglyphic.

Over time if peiced together correctly they actually may say something or state some kind of a message that will finally be understood by the human race.

Our time and other Intelligence time may be very different. A message that they may want to relay quickly may take us many years to decipher.

Until we figure out how to achieve this, we are still left in the dark.

If they are all fake then kudos to the pranksters , they damn well had me fooled!

You should probably consider the possibility that these crop glyphs aren't a direct attempt at communication the way you would think.

It is my assessment crop circles are created by (all) three parties.

1.) Humans with planks of wood and rope

2.) The military using some kind of electro-magnetic technology

3.) Extraterrestrials

In the case of the glyphs being created by E.T's, IMO they are simply trying to tickle our awareness and understanding that we aren't alone and that there are other intelligences out there in the cosmos watching us.

I think they want us to realize it sooner rather than later because I am convinced the E.T's know they are going to have to step in and intervene on this planet before too long. The more aware we are of their presence the less of a shock it will be for us.

In the case of the military, well who knows! Who knows what they are ever up to and why they do the things they do. Probably the same reasons they abduct humans and mutilate cattle....

The question needs to be put differently.

Obviously currently some are proven human hoaxes whilst some are yet to be identified as to how they were made.

Either provide a single example and ask what people think or maybe rephrase the question - if you want to avoid generic arguments that ultimately amount to nothing.

I have never seen one on ATS that I would call anything other than a hoax. The first dead giveaway is the fact that they are all touted by a tour company, then there is the FACT that they are all in the same general area. Ask yourself if there is money to be made off cropcircles, google and see, there certainly is, that is the viable motive behind creating them. They are hoaxes. I do believe that some cropcircles are true anamolies, but I have never seen on on ATS that was.

Firstly the crop circles do not appear in the same geographical area, examples have been recorded worldwide. Granted the majority appear in the same half dozen counties of the UK but that is because they are generally in corn and that area is where the majority of corn is grown.

Secondly the idea that the hundreds of crop circles that have appeared in this area over the last 25 years or more have been created for financial gain is frankly ludicrous.

Using the same logic someone had a lot of foresight in 1947 in Roswell.

Anonymous notoriety or whatever personal pleasure some people get is likely to be behind a significant number, however some do seem to defy explanation.

Either way, despite the damage to good crop (the EU has a grain mountain anyway), the expression of artwork and imagination alone in some is breathtaking.

I was very tired when i looked at it, yes i see it's the solar system but again i am yet to see how you instantly consider that alien when far more complex circles are made by humans and have been filmed being made by humans.

I don't put a whole lot of weight on crop circles. They've been faked so many times it's hard for me to take them seriously. I thought I saw something on TV a few years ago about there even being a crop circle competition somewhere in England (I think it was England anyway).

Crop circles are just Graffiti from Alien gangs

We don't know squat about aliens other that they exist.

There could be good and bad aliens, heck for all we know the crop circles can be alien kids paintings in earth.

The fake or the unknown are equally interesting due to a discovery by Colin Andrews not long ago, and which was presented at the 2009 X-Conference (I believe for the first time)

We recently interviewed Colin here about this new wrinkle, and also about the Tall Whites case which is ongoing.

No question one the best interviews we have had.
