Yeah it was Ahmadinejads poorly translated comment mate.I heard some idiotic conservative repeat the mantra on Question Time and no one on the panel corrected him and the audience knew no better!

A mistranslation has not changed the course of events throughout history. The timeline has not altered to make the islamic regime like jews because a journalist has slightly mistranslated part of an ahmadi speech.

Another point to make is that Ahmadi's comments are still distainable with the proper translation, and of course are irrelevant to the bigger issue, along with the majority of his other comments - whether correctly quoted or misquoted.

We are not where we are because of this mistranslation.

The fact of the matter is there are many widely held false historically inaccuracies regarding the Holocaust.

Since when does free speech and ones right to question propagandized history versus fact become a crime outside of Nazi Germany like states?

It would seem to me that history and all of humanity is served when these things are reviewed. Simon Wiesenthal was found to be guilty of inventing and manufacturing many falsehoods like soap and lamp shades made out of human beings.

How exactly is humanity served in believing such fictions and giving up its inherent right to critically question things in search of the truth and facts?

In reality it seems like Israel has a violent and vested interest evidenced in it’s condemnation of those people and nations that won’t swallow its dogmas and propaganda verbatim and that is a far more dangerous thing to humanity than those with questioning minds.

The only people who have anything to fear from a review of facts is people lying and trying to hide things.

Zionist Israel has a tendency to make it self seem awful guilty of many crimes in it's heavy handed cry baby approaches to what is in fact natural human curiosity.

I wonder why they would do that? Could it be that they don't want to have to join the rest of the world community like Iran has in signing the Nuclear Regulatory Treaties that Israel refuses to sign?

Could it be Zionist Israel uses this warped propagandized version of history so it doesn't have to subject itself to the Atomic Energy Inspections it refuses to allow or take part in?

Could it be that this insane gaurdianship of highly fictitious account of the holacaust is so the world turns a blind eye to its own illegal Nuclear Weapons that destabilize the whole world?

I think so and so do a lot of other people when Israel reacts in such unseemly ways to intelligent people every where.

Such as??

Which fictitious part? Go on, I'm interested.

Wouldn't you want nukes if you were a small country surrounded by enemies? And remember it was the middle of the cold-war era when they armed, and having a nuclear ally in this region was important for the west. Would YOU then give up those nukes in 2009 when Russia, US etc still have their own?

All nukes arguably destablise the whole world, or nukes on each side prevent MAD depending who owns them.

join the rest of the world community like Iran has in signing the Nuclear Regulatory Treaties that Israel refuses to sign?

Atomic Energy Inspections it refuses to allow or take part in?

And this changes what with regards to the Iranian islamic regime? Shall we give nukes to Al-Qaeda as well, and Somalia because Israel has them? Your comments serve no purpose and leads nowhere.

The Islamic regime are recruiting, and they'll take people on like you for their PR. That's no joke, because you are well suited!

I wouldn’t delude your self into thinking that anyone who is surrounded by enemies hasn’t themselves created the enemies they are surrounded by!

The reality is people don’t become enemies by accident.

They become people’s enemies by doing things that displays they are a threat. With Israel’s abysmal human rights records and multiple wars of aggression it has started in recent years as well as illegal and undeclared bombing raids into a host of countries in the region what do you think they were going to end up with bosom buddies?

As far as Israel refusing to take part in Nuclear Regulatory Treaties and to allow inspections today in 2009 what do people really imagine that has to do with the Cold War that ended in 1990? Almost 20 years ago?

Are people really so naïve that they think the United States vast nuclear arsenal, fleet of long range bombers, and nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers and Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and battlefield artillery nuclear munitions couldn’t have responded to the Russians or Chinese, that Israel was going to ride in with it’s illegal nuclear weapons to save the world from the communist horde. Such fiction!

That’s just a lot of deflection away from the fact that a Nuclear Armed Israel invites other nations in the region to acquire Nuclear Weapons to counter its often illegal and aggressive unilateral acts of violence and war.

It is Israel’s illegal nuclear weapons and Israel’s refusal to sign the Nuclear Regulatory Treaties and to allow inspections that destabilizes the region and encourages other nations to seek them out of fear.

That anyone would go so far as to link Islam itself with some universal threat and something that needs countered with violence and suspicion is probably what creates radical Islamic extremists to begin with. So once again it’s such people who make such outrageous contentions that are destabilizing the region and the world.

Simply put bigots of any race, creed or color suck!

The primary disseminators of extreme Islamic rhetoric, Saudi Arabia and Iran, both not coincidentally strict theocratic regimes, learned well from 20th Century European history.

As the Nazis found, it’s an effective strategy to deflect from the government’s political maneuverings and shortcomings in providing the basic necessities to the population by creating a simple explanation with a visible source for all problems – a convenient scapegoat. Jews are perfect. They do pretty well for themselves, are generally well-educated and worldly, have a religion that differs from the masses.

The ignorant, the angry, will readily buy into an explanation that offers an attainable resolution. Get rid of those troublesome Jews then peace and prosperity will rein.

A really good thing is you don’t even have to pay people to work on your campaign - accusing the Jews of any and all problems. There are excited volunteers delighted to spend their time and energy spreading your malignant disinformation.

Long-winded passionate speeches, outrageous historical distortions, even outright lies can be employed. As long as the message is clear: Muslims – innocent. Jews – guilty.

Bad for whom, you ask? All three countries you name would be better off without them. Not to mention Iran's neighbors... Seriously, what use does Iran, or Israel, have for the bomb?

Politically stable? Lot's of 'em. For all the sound and fury, the US is very stable. Israel is stable, too, for that matter. Japan, Germany, France, Switzerland...the list is fairly long.

Ultimately where Zionist Israel exposes and defeats itself is by failing to adhere to the national identities that make up a body politic to try to paint it’s own body politic as a religious one and insisting all those who have disputes with it are based on religion instead of national politics.

It’s the ultimate form of deflection. The reality is Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and others live inside of Iran. The body politic is not just Muslim even though it’s a ruled as a theocracy.

What is shocking and equally disturbing and frightening as well is that Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and others live inside of Zionist Israel.

Israel’s body politic likewise is not entirely Jewish, just as Iran’s is not entirely Islamic.

Yet more often than not when another nation or a person finds something distressing in the body politic of Israel even though it often loves to promote itself as a secular democracy the immediate retort is oh they don’t like Jews or, oh they are anti-Semitic or oh, they are Muslim and don’t like Jews.

Yet the reality is from Hezbollah in Lebanon to the ruling Clerics and Politicians in Iran they make it very clear what they don’t like is ZIONIST politics.

I myself don’t like ZIONIST POLITICS, and it’s incredibly misleading to paint ZIONIST ISRAEL as exclusively a Jewish Nation, and that anyone who objects to ZIONIST POLITICS simply doesn’t like Jews.

It’s the ultimate deflection and its often very insulting people who are MATURE enough and RATIONAL enough and INTELLIGENT enough to draw a distinction between the body politic of a nation and a religious majority that dwells within it.

I personally think that Zionist Propaganda accomplished so much for so long that they started actually believing it hook line and sinker because any INTELLIGENT person can see that ultimately Zionist supporters draw any displeasure with the Israeli Body Politic to being purely religious in nature, and further try their level best to make the word Muslim or Islam intrinsic with some notion of criminality and intolerance. Yet to intelligent people the Zionists who do that end up painting Zionist Israel as criminally intolerant of all Muslims.

When you combine that with Zionist Israel’s Human Rights Violations, Propaganda Wars against Islamic Nations and unilateral undeclared military actions against Islamic Nations based solely on Zionist fears and suspicions what you have is an increasing bad image for Zionist Israel that they try to deflect away with oh people hate the Jews, because they are Jews.

No people hate liars, killers, thieves, and murderers. They actually come in every religious stripe and a stroll through any Western Nation’s Prisons displays that!

Bigots really do suck, and people who make these religious based arguments are in fact equally if not guiltier of the same kind of religious xenophobia and hatred they claim the other religion is guilty of.

Nations are Nations and Religions are Religions and the Body Politic of a Nation is Politics pure and simple.

Trying to hide bad and shortsighted and criminal policies and their disastrous effects behind a religion and to condemn whole societies based on religion is utterly pathetic.

It’s also insulting to the intelligence of people with common sense. Religions don’t make people do stupid terrible things, people make people do stupid terrible things, and more often than not it’s the person in the mirror doing that!

Only two atomic bombs used against populations. US on two industrial-military target during a formally declared war with Japan, in 1945. 64 years ago.

Technology attained subsequently by Russia, Britain, France, China, Israel, India. US extends accessibility to Japan, South Korea, Italy, etc.

More recent questionable entrants:

1) North Korea. Totalitarian regime technically still at war with South Korea.

2) Pakistan. Highly unstable central government. Military and Intelligence Service (ISI) primary controllers of finternational and military policy - actively supportive of destabilization and terrorist activities - ie Taliban, al Qaida, etc.

3) Iran? Since 1979 an Islamic Republic with Fundamentalist theocratic rule. Uncertain foreign policy control thought to have shifted to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps supported by the elected President. Actively supportive of destabilization and terrorist activities.

The number have been supplied more than once on this list. Since the formation of Israel in 1948, 11 million Muslims killed by other Muslims, 35,000 Muslims killed fighting Israel.

Wow I suppose this is the latest justification for the Muslim massicars around the world. Nice find mmiichael

Divide and Conquer, such an old tactic, and yet people act dubious to it.

Classic military strategy would qualify "divide and conquer" as a maneuver to split the enemies force into two or more elements. This made the enemy vulnerable to attacks from more than one direction and forced the enemy to defend with fewer soldiers massed.

Yeah it would be a stupid idea to leave Muslims unitec
they own too much land, too much resources, too many countries, and basically reproducing faster than everyone else. That being said the super powers of today will make sure Muslims are divided and killing each other.

One of the best examples would probably be Iraq where America used this exact tactic to divide the resistance movement and the product of this action was the civil war.

Hey like get a grip. I don't run a country, or act as a military strategist. Just reported some hard numbers after all the talk of those terrible Jews over there. 35,000 Muslims killed in conflict with Israel, 11 Million in conflicts with other Muslims.

You want to read agendas into every statement of fact that troubles you - that's not anyone else's problem.

You want to address the unnecessary killing of Muslims speak to the people running the governments and military in the countries responsible. You can warn them about people saying all awful things about them on discussion forums. I'm sure they'd be concerned.

I actually do not care if Iran gets nuclear weapons, to be quite honest i do not think they want them to bomb people they want them so they will be on equal terms with the USA and other countries that have them.

I would feel no more unsafe if they developed them considering how many the USA, UK and Russia have.

Plus Israel has nuclear weapons so im sure it would be an eye for an eye if any thing happened and no sane person would commit a country to death.

Mainstream media just pushes what it wants people to hear.

I'm just pointing out that you can't justify the killings of Muslims because Musilms kill Muslims lol

Similarly you can't justify the killings of Americans just because Americans were killing Americans in that civil war, remember? And you can't justify the genocide of aboriginal Americans (Indian Americans) just because they hapenned to kill each other.

Nice way of forcing an argument on someone.

Don't mind if I borrow this argument for a while ae... I wouldn't mind using it agains those patriots who can't shut it and listen.

At least 618,000 Americans died in the Civil War, and some experts say the toll reached 700,000.

More than half a million Americans died fighting each other, and less han ten thousand fighting Muslims...

I won't even try to argue.

I provided a terrible statistic of how millions of Muslims died.

Unlike yourself I am discussing what is happening in the here and now not the historical past.

I did not say I approve or condone the needless death of Muslims or anyone.

Do not accuse me of this again.

I think you've flipped. And I'm trying hard to be polite.

I personally feel I haven't pushed you enough. Individuals like you and me need to be pushed right next to the edge. Please tell me you are scared of heights cause I'm.

I made my point you made yours, my point doesn't go against yours if that is what you are implying. Conclusion: My point doesn't rely on your point to exist..

I'll chalk this up to bad communication, misunderstanding of intent.

I've seen more than my share of death. Not a personal fear but don't wish it on anyone.

Dark storms brewing. Some irrational players with unpredictable agendas. No precedents are applicable. Debating past history and politics will have little effect on what is unfolding.

I coulden't agree with you more. Even IF Iran choses to follow the path of North Korea and developes a crude bomb of some sorts It does not enhance their security, it actually threatens it.

In this thread the arsenals of the US, Russia, China, and even Israel are mentioned several times.

Look at them. If Ahmi would have a bomb, and would be stupid enough to use it, it would mean certain destruction for Iran, and maybe the known world. Back to neolithic times!

You don't have to be intelligent to know that, when you shoot with a catapult at a sleeping tiger, the thing will jump up and maul you! I think even Ahmi's deranged brains could comprehend this.

This is why i think I think Ahmi is a big balloon of hot air. Why even care about this raving lunatic?

The facts are people. Iraq and Iran were before the 91 war seen as Israels biggest threat in the region. That means future threats to Israel.

This is what the whole Nuke thing is all about. Its all about who is a threat and a future challenge to Israel in the middle east.

Iraq is out of the picture now. So the focus is now on Iran. And we are going to let us selves be fooled by the same tricks as last time.

We dont need facts. All we need is a excuse and a little media coverage and the stage is set.
Then we can study the facts after Iran is demolished. That is exactly what is now happening in Afghanistan. We where hunting the chief in charge of 911. But that's not the case any more. Now we are trying to make Christians out the whole damn nation.
