Are you planning on blowing it up or something OP? Only its probably not such a good idea to recruit your volunteers in a public forum

Tourist Trap is my opinion

if your new-age or otherwise enlightened..
go to the end of the 'trail'
which is the 'Slide Rock' area ~ but 'SlideRock' itself is a tourist attraction for the unawares....

My suggestion--> continue, on foot of course, to the bridge over the slide-rock water chute run,
walk/hike on over to that other side of the popculture 'Sedona'...

you will find
medicine wheels, assorted 'vortex' places, even native Fry-Bread vendors
who are most personable & friendly to the people who "have crossed that bridge"...

the experience is symbolic but real at the same time
(& they, [the people on-the-other side] 'know it'
& are waiting for 'You' to receive/ realize that Epiphany moment...)

Sigh.

Sedona was once a beautiful place. Too bad.

Slide Rock was fun day out and a great break from classes at NAU, but I suspect you can't get anywhere it anymore.
