I don't think so. I see someone who fought for freedom defending it's principles. No American President should ever bow to another countries leader. That is what the Revolution was fought for. I can see your far-left rhetoric in your other post. Obama lies his ass off as much as Bush did.
Why not ???
Any world leader should show respect for leaders of other nations.
If not you are basically saying we are America, we are the world. Honestly that level of arrogance is very dangerous.

Maybe because like so many of us that actually stood up and fought for our freedom, it is now that we see it slipping away..
Kind of hard to understand if you didn't bleed a little.
Mr. President,
I would like to applaud you son for trying to bring this country back from the brink. Those 8 horrid years of George W. Bush and your election have kept me going. I did not want to cash in the chips until I saw my country was in good hands. I know everyone expects you to work miracles overnight, but at 97 I know the meaning of patience and steady change. I can see that it is coming and we are getting back on track. Good work son, good work.

A US president is just that, the president of the US. He is not above or below anyone and should at all costs respect other leaders and their respective traditions.

There you have it. When a 95 year old man of the "Greatest Generation" speaks out you know something is wrong.
Or, he's just another old, out of touch old person who relies on government run health care and listens to fox news, which means that he's been made afraid.
right wing media fear at it's best, frightening the elderly, they must be so proud.

Correct he is not above or BELOW anyone. We fought the revolution to break away from ROYALTY and establish that NO MAN is BELOW royalty.
The American President represents the PEOPLE.
When he bows to ROYALTY is show the subservience they fought so hard to break away from. The principals that ALL MEN ARE EQUAL. Not above or below.
IT HAS BEEN PROTOCOL since the nation was founded that when meeting foreign royalty and dignitaries that the president or any US citizen EVER BOW to royalty. We are not saying 'Hey, we are above you', we are simply saying "Hey, as one man to another man I am equal to you, no matter if you are the king of another country or not"
I simple handshake will suffice. Not bowing isn't showing disrespect or a superior attitude at all. Quite the contrary, it is showing the EQUALITY of EVERYONE.
You 'should show respect' tards just don't get it. Go study the history of your country before you try to give your uninformed opinion on this matter.

bravo. much better written than anything i couldve done. summed up my emotions for my country. it sickens me that people want to destry this great nation and turn it into another monarchy and actually think socialism is good, when its been proven in history time and time again that it DOES NOT WORK!

"Shape up and start acting like an American.".. how about start acting like a human being and not a sociopath who thinks nothing of innocent people being needlessly slaughtered.. all because another sociopath lied.
I don't get why people feel it's so important to rally under a colored cloth on a stick or be proud of something they had nothing to do with.. where they were born.
Just because your parents boinked each other on a particular patch of Earths dirt doesn't make you any more special or unique than any other person on this planet.
..and I seriously doubt a so called "god" blesses people based on zip code.
Humanity would a-lot better off without such goofy emotional attachments and more practical less violent ideals.

God the amount of sensationalized bs on this site sometimes is amazing, grovel? really? He's a tall man, bowing to a much shorter asian man, would have looked the same as an NBA player bowning to japanese basketball players in teh Olympics, th ey dont' do it often OR AT ALL and when it does, it looks awkward. Live in the real world dude
