300 year old ceramic looks like tv!

Apparently this ceramic has been proven to be over 200 years old and is a spitting image of a 'modern' television set. I can't verify this (I can't read Chinese myself) but my wife can and apparently the story goes that a king got bored of receiving vases as gifts all the time and demanded something original and this is what some guy came up with.

Amazing find if true (I can't really see how it can be though). Hoping someone can verify/dismiss this claim.

Besides being terribly tacky I find it impossible to believe that's really that old.

how do they know its 200 years old? is what I want to know.

I am happy to call BS on this until they can show some damm good evidence

The artist's name is Ma Jun, the piece of art dates 2007.

Ma Jun Born in 1974 in Quingdao, China
Graduated in 2003 from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing

that is a really cool piece of ceramic. i love that someone saw it and decided to try to convince people it wass 200 years old. (it sounds like something i'ld do.)

when i looked at it i doubted very much, it was that old...
not everything is that mysterious...

2007, 200 years ago, I see how you can easily make that mistake.

well because we all like funny storys heres my blarny.
i read a scifi book about alians who used a generagtion ship to get to earth (unknowing that earth had a intellegent humm life.
anyway apon getting here they saw we were so war like so they burred the ship in the rockes in calforina wilds (this was around 1930 id say.
anyway they dug under ground homes and such living out of site untill the moderen day .
well these alians looked alot like guddy dressed rabbits with smarts of corse .
anyway one day out of bordum i told the main parts of this book to my wife but NOT telling her it was just scifi made out like it was realy happening . well had her total convinced there were alian rabbits from outer space hiding out in calfornia lolololololollol
