Screen Cut off to the left

Ok so here it is the post of posts! the Legend!

Windows 7 ult x64 installed all my drivers GtG

Specs:

AMD 9600 quad core 2.3 ghz
8 gigs of dual channel ram
nvida geforce gtx 260 892 mb black edtion video card

and a 22" sceptre display lcd 1080p

but i can only go in 1280x720....

if i go to 1920x1080 the screen gets cut off on the left about 4 inchs i selceted my mointor thing and moved it over to the right as far as i could and i still have about 2 inchs to go .... so i have to stay in 1280x720 and i cant go any higher not even in games..

I have a Samsung 22" that matches your specs and problems. Usually the client computers I hook to it cannot push the 1080 resolution and it expands out or does what you describe. On my second 22" Samsung is hooked to a GTX 260 black and it does not. The difference for me is the cable. If I use the DVI it is good. If not.. Same issue as you. Switch to DVI if you have not. If so run windows update and see if Microsoft has a driver for your monitor. Mine did.
