I discovered this site by accident today, and I just couldn't stop reading. Whether I agreed or did not with the posts that were left, I was charmed by the grace and intelligence I found in just about all of them. I have great expectations...

I am an older male living in San Diego, California. I have worked as a dancer, teacher, cleric in a Gnostic/Essene setting, software QA analyst, etc., and I'm not done yet. I have degrees in sociology and history. But my real passion are my dogs (little weinerdogs).

I did some radio guest appearances in the early 1970s here in San Diego talking about magick and the occult, curious religions, etc. on a late night open phone talk show. So I've been interested in the unusual for a great many years. Currently, I am more and more interested in the UFO phenomena and what it means. I have always been open minded on the topic (OK, let's say without evidence I have always suspected they were real, and represented extraterrestrial life). In about 2001 I had a vivid sighting from my office window at an educational software company I worked in. Really startled, I watched the event for about 5 minutes. I did not report it, but looked for it in the news next day. Nothing. But I was within radar range of the naval air station at Miramar (the old Top Gun flight school facility). Geez. And I've never stopped wondering. Leads to questions about conspiracies of silence et. al. I believe I've also encountered ghosts, maybe what could be called a demonic attack, saw visions, and a bunch of other stuff I hope and expect to learn about among you all. And gee, I still think of myself as rational and open minded (open minded here is not a euphamism for "hole in the head"
