Well, the big-mouthed temper tantrum leader of Venezuela, is just amping to start a war.

I suspect, he is trying this now, figuring US is too occupied with it's two wars.

I suspect he may get a real big surprise if he actually is stupid enough to Attack Columbia.

If he does, it would be the excuse the US needs to remove the tin-plated dictator.

It just proves that dictator with good sense of humor is still a dictator. He will not attack Colombia since he is toast next day, but he will built his own iron curtain version and blame his failed economical reforms on enemies next door. Old efficient technique.

I wish I understood more on why his policies are failing?
Is it because he's a non participant in the game our countries are involved in?
Seems that the countries, (handful) that dont play ball... are the ones always being touted as no good.

When people gripe about about Chavez I can only half agree at best. The article mentions his cutting of economic ties upwards of 7bn which is alot but its about principle. I agree whole heartedly with Chavez that Colombia is indeed a US pawn of the region.
And quite frankly if the US had "pedestrian bridges with Mexico, I'd want those blown up as well.

How is destruction of bridges an aggresive measure? It is rather protective.

As far as I know, all economical reforms were a failure, before, now and in future.
