Time travel poser.

For me, I think it would be interesting just to observe historical events taking place. Not to change them, just to observe. As was said here before, with chaos theory (unpredictability in a complex system), anything that is altered (no matter how small and apparently insignificant) could drastically change the outcome. I'm not ecstatic about the outcome, but it could be much worse. So, given the choice, I wouldn't tamper. I'd just observe.

The last minute before an asteroid hit the earth and killed everything off. That would be damn cool to see it coming closer and closer with all those dinos around me and then just zap myself out of there.

Well, you can't change the future. If you changed it, it alredy would have been changed, so you wouldn't have gone back to change it, so it wouldn't have changed, so you would have gone back to change it, but then it already would have been changed, so it wouldn't have changed, so you would have gone back to change it, but then it already would have been changed, so it wouldn't have changed, so you would have gone back to change it, but then it already would have been changed, in other words, not possible.

The theory is split dimensions, and I would go back and mess with things. I would have more than a min. to do what i wanted and would be able to stay in the same timeline. So I leave this one, kill Lincoln, then go forward in that timeline and kill hitler, so forth. But stay in that timeline just to see how screwed up I could make it. Imagine the Wright brothers die when they are young. Imagine Einstein killed when he was a kid. Just how much would that screw the world up?

And then sleep with Monroe, but would bring some viagra from this timeline so I would last longer then the JFK of that timeline.(if he still became the President, or even if the Kennedy family existed after I messed with that timeline)

also if you would go back for a minute would that be a minute on your timeline or the timeline your are visiting. according to Titor (i know alot of you think hes full of crap but oh well) you could go back and spend a year in a different time and then return and you would have appeared to be gone only very minimal amount of time like a second.

but i digress. if i could go do one thing i guess i would set the dial back to 0 and see what was there at the start of time.
