Why Is The Vatican So Interested In Extra Terrestrial Life ?

i doubt very much if any ET's would want to get involved too much with any of our religions unless they have absolute proof of god. if they just have a belief system like here on earth without proof then it will just cause more confussion to an already over complicated situation and they will be mindful of the way we so readilly go to war with each other in gods name.
if they have no belief in god then i think they would not want to get involved in this subject as people are not going to just give up their lifes beliefs just because ET said there was no god.

i also dont think first contact will be made with any one religous leader as given the tension between the major religions of this planet which one would they choose without putting the other ones out ?

I just see one contact scenario for now and that is at 2012 Olympics or even 2010 Winter Olympics. A very good chance for the world to reunite and welcome the aliens.

i watched that Tv program called V tonight for the first time and i have to say, wow ,they sure did make a connection to the Church when the Aliens showed up.

Church attendance was low prior to the arrival and then when they (the visitors) showed up , people started looking to the Priests for answers. i'm guessing that might not be far from reality if a mass invasion did happen.

Even if disclosure did come soon, It wouldnt be the end of christianity. There will be even more conspiracy theories on if the disclosure is legit. I'm betting theres going to be alot of focus on PROJECT BLUE BEAM when and if disclosure comes.

What if aliens prove how the world was *really* formed, how mankind *really* came about. . . etc/

All those scriptures about God did suddenly becomes "it's really a metaphor" to Christians. Catholics are really scared their religion will be undermined so they're researching now to better get a handle of things later. It's just marketshare, they don't wanna lose their flock to the new guys who really do perform "miracles" and have proof of how mankind came about and how the world was formed.

Who would you put your confidence in? Someone more superior to you that you can see and touch with scientifically valid proof or ignore all that and just continue to believe bible stories no matter what evidence to the contrary?

The truth is no one knows how Aliens will go about disclosure. If aliens are interested in being honest to humans than the Church has no bargaining chip for aliens to go along with their deception. Remember Galileo?

Also wouldn't "coming out" be interefering in human affairs anyway? Shouldn't mankind be allowed to follow it's own destiny?

You know when you grow up Catholic like I did and finally see what it is all about as an adult, it really is laughable. I basically mean all Christianity. But the thing is that its not the religion itself that is bad, rather, the followers and practitioners.

Its funny to think that automatically any extraterrestrials would automatically be under the authority of Christianity. Basically this notion is just an extention of the ego of The Church, in my opinion.

There is still a lack of evidence to point to the existence of Project Blue Beam, in fact, only two individuals have claimed to worked on the project. I believe it is a theory put out by Alex Jones (and others), just to denounced UFOs in order to maintain their Christian fundamentalist attitudes.

IMO A true Catholic won't renounce their faith, that's what being a Catholic is all about isn't it, faith?

Think about it, they come from the heavens... they are bright = ufo lights.

They are tall... or so we have heard. They look human like. Why can we not consider aliens and angels as the same thing???

Why should angles waste their time like the UFO.
They appear as humans and are on a mission from God.
So UFOs are not angles.
Angles do a lot and looks like we all need a brush up on what they do.
One occurrence was to Adam with instructions on how to bury people.
Remember that.
Well, let say sometimes angles appear as people we might guess are angles.
So do ETs have angles, no cause there are no ETs.

with his plans because he had his Aircraft Patent rejected in Europe.
Why would Tesla go to America if his patent in Europe is all he wanted
to do and make him immensely wealthy. Thus he patented parts and
devices to make the aircraft work. His wireless power that no one
wanted was to power his aircraft. His method made too many sparks
as do UFOs when not tuned well and that is still a problem. So his
craft exists and has its problems and lack of recognition but some
people think the UFO craft is a design by Tesla.

There are no Dinos in the bible, yet we have proven their existance and this has not rattled the Faith (except for the smaller wacko organizations). We were made in God's image, as it is written, but that doesn't mean we don't have cousins.

some Angels are not on a mission from God and you have no way of knowing what an Angel really looks like or could be driving.

I think I know why the Vatican is starting to disclose is because they will be the conduit though ET's will be dealing with Humanity . The ET's seem to be more organized around spiritual principles from what I have gleaned.

So it would make perfect sense for the ET's to make contact with the heads of major religion's that transcend national borders. It seems a more practical way for the ET's than contacting the political head's of every country on the planet.

So instead of waiting for the flying saucers to land on the White House lawn, A more realistic scenario would be a landing at Vatican city courtyard.
