But, that isn't the only way, how we sponsor the Taliban. In 2008 the independent broke the story, that the British even tried to build a Taliban training camp.

Britain planned to build a Taliban training camp for 2,000 fighters in southern Afghanistan, as part of a top-secret deal to make them swap sides, intelligence sources in Kabul have revealed. The plans were discovered on a memory stick seized by Afghan secret police in December.

Even today there are still many ties between the Taliban and the CIA. So I guess a quick victory was never the prime objective. To make a perpetual war on terror, the PTB have to control both sides of the conflict. They bleed the western taxpayers, spill Afghan blood and reap the rewards from the poppy harvest.

What these talking heads don't understand is the Billions of dollars being made off of the heroin trade world wide. Taliban and CIA are one in the same with one hand washing the other.

Coincidentally now that the Brits and US have occupied Afghanistan There is currently world wide Heroin epidemic with the high grade inexpensive snortable Heroin coming out of Afghanistan.
Even China is facing this problem amongst their young people.

Kids in the US as young as 9 years old are now using this stuff that is cheaper than a six pack of beer and easier to obtain. No ID required.

American Taxpayers money.....used to make Billions.

No different than when we were fighting another war called Vietnam where the Golden Triangle of Southeast Asian provided the worlds Heroin supply.
We also had an epidemic of Heroin in the US in the 70's.

Research the Opium wars of China back in the 1840's....the British declared war on China for not allowing their narcotics into China and enslaving that nation's people.

That is something everyone seems to agree on. Mike Hanna is the project manager for a trucking company called Afghan American Army Services. The company, which still operates in Afghanistan, had been trucking for the United States for years but lost out in the host nation trucking contract that NCL won. Hanna explained the security realities quite simply: "You are paying the people in the local areas – some are warlords, some are politicians in the police force – to move your trucks through."

Hanna explained that the prices charged are different depending on the route. "We're basically being extorted. Where you don't pay, you're going to get attacked. We just have our field guys go down there, and they pay off who they need to."
