1. 10.2% = unemployment in America (even higher if you count the under employed and those that have stopped looking)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did the depression (yes I called it a depression not a reccesion) start with Obama or Bush. yes both men made choices and mistakes that I feel caused more damage then good. But lets not forget that Obama came in having to clean up Bush's mess.

2. $1.75 Trillion = the largest and most unsustainable deficit in our nation's history. "oh but it was necessary to save us from the abyss!" please refer back to #1.

lets look at the defict now. right now because we can not add anything that might get tacked on due the the healthcare bill. As of right now a total of 931 billion has been spent on these two "wars"
700 billion = Iraq
231 billion = Afghanistan
( this is from www.costofwar.com) This is the total since 2001 Obama took office in Jan. Obama could not do anything about the buget for this year since Bush had already signed off on it for this fiscal year. So given that knowledge how could Obama have raised the deficit to that amount. Did he have something to do with it yes. Cash for clunkers, more bailouts etc. But you can not put the blame square on his shoulders for this.

3. 51 = the death toll in October 2009, Afghanistan. The deadliest month in the War's history. Obama spent the entire month putting off the decision to either follow his commander's reccomendations to curb the violence or not.

I'm hard pressed on this issue. I tend to agree with you on this subject. But what you have to realize is that the man is stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one. (personally I would want the task of fixing the economy the fixing this cluster*&^%) Any decision he makes he is going to be crusified for. Americans want our soilders home NOW. But if he just pulls them out and the taliban take over again now we will have a very powerfull and motivated enemy + the american people will scream the HE let that happen even though he was doing what we asked. If we stay then the American people will still crusifiy him for "following buses plan and wasting taxpayer money and american lives on a useless war. Not an easy decision.

4. $999,999,999.99 = the amount obama said he wouldn't sign a healthcare bill that cost more. he's currently poised to accept a billion hundreds of billions more than that.

Obama truly believes in this healthcare bill and he truly believes that if he can get rid of the wastefull spending then it will not cost nearly as mush as his criticts say. For my sake and my family sakes and for his sake I hope and pray that he is right. This country NEEDS healthcare reform!!!!!!!! But the biggest problem i see know is that both sides are throwing trash at each other and the truth is getiing covered up by it. I hope it passes because we need it and I believe he is telling the truth. Only time will tell on this on. I dont not fully believe Obama when he says that it will not add any money to the deficit but I do not believe the other side when the say that it will add trillions either


As for the quotes:

I cant comment of these because I dont have any evidence that he said or did not say these things.

In conclusion, you don't have to be a muslim, anti-american communist to absolutely SUCK at your job. And obama sure does suck.

He has barely been in office a year. Before any one can truly pass judgement on his performance lets wait till he signs the 2010 budget. Lets see how 2010 turns out. We have to give it time for what he has implemented to start to take place. I think one big problem is that people thought that he would get into office and fix everything overnight. Now they are realizing that it would be years befor things get back to normal. By Obama's own words the country will not start to benifit from his plan till about 2013-14. The sad this is that if that is true and he does not get re-elected then the next president will get the credit.

Hating him is one thing. But tring to demonize him to being a socialist or communist just because youdont agree with his views is something compleatley diffrent.

I hated bush but never would I have thought to attempt to call him all these names. I think the worse I ever called him was a cheat and a lier.

What I'm after in this post is not why people dislike him but think he is communist or socialist, or any of the numeerous things that he has been called. And as you can see from the above post, it also has to do with how so many of his supporters love to call names and otherwise demonize anyone that disagrees with obama and/or his policies instead of dealing with the issues.

The ability to have dissent is fundamental with Americans, and the left used it "ad nauseum" and sometimes very cruelly during the last administration and election cycle.

Now those same "dissenters" from the Bush years find themselves having to play defense for obama and all of the sudden it just seems sooo unfair.

Well, Obama has surrounded himself with these types of Marxist, Socialist folks throughout is adult life and now he has surrounded himself with these very people in the White House. Connect the Dots!

His radical policies and ideals speak volumes and contradict the mild mannered middle of the road Obama that was stumping on the campaign trail. The man boasted, in his own autobiography, about hanging out with Marxist Professors in college because he didn't want to be labeled as a sell out. Was Obama just doing research?

My political views are essentially the same as they were in college and I would suspect that Obama's views and ideals are still the same as they were in his college years and throughout his ACORN years.

That may be true I dont know enough about that to make an informed choice. But I will say that if it is true then yes it looks bad but dones not mean to much. I know people say you can the type of person some one is by the company they keep, but that is not always true. I know this from personnal experiance.

Frankly I couldent care less about most of his supporters. A large amount of the people that voted for Obama knew nothing of what he had planned for this country. They simply voted for him because he was black. To me that makes them just as ignorat and stupid as those that voted against him because of his skin color. I will even admitt I did not think Obama was the best suited man for this job but I voted for him because I felt he would do better then McCain. I was born and raised a dem but would have voted rep if Huckibee had made it.

Even though I personally did not like Bush I always defended the choices he made until some one could prove that he deserved the title warmonger(which I think he did deserve), murderer, war criminal, racist, among many others.

If the fact is that you just plainly dont like Obama then fine ok, but dont stand on a platform you know nothing about and follow what everyone is saying. People dont want to do their own research into it. This is what the conversations have mostly been latly:

Q- Why dont you like Obama?
A- He's a Socialist!!
Q- What makes him a Socilist?
A- Everything he is tring to do?
Q- Like what?
A- For starters, his ObamaCare!!

Now that is what I have encountered most of (not all) but most of the time. Now to be fair I have asked people why they like Obama and this is what I get.

A- He's black, or I dunno I just do.

just as rarely as I get educated answers for his critics I get educated answers from his supporters.

All I want is straight answers I would rather someone one tell me I hate him because he's black then to sit here and say because he is a socialist. I may call you a racist &*(%^ but at least you will know what your talking about when someone ask you why.
