There's only one claim that I have serious doubts about. The authors claim that the Japanese shipped 280,000 metric tonnes of gold from Japan to the Philipines before the end of WW2 because of the US submarine blockade. Now 280, 000 metric tonnes is a LOT of gold. It would take more than just a couple of ships to carry that much gold and if the US blockade was such a threat, why would the Japanese risk losing their gold to submarine attacks by shipping it to the Philipines? Why not just keep it in Japan?

But aside from that, this report is definitely worth reading.
