LONDON, Nov. 4, 2009 (Reuters) — A growing storm of debris flying around in space is dramatically increasing the risk of orbital crashes, and steps to avoid them will add greatly to the costs of future space flight, British space experts say.

How would you get rid of space junk?

The space junk is becoming a problem already and we have barely started commercial flight into space. I find it fascinating that they mention that something the size of a marble can destroy a whole space station(speed of 15km/second). Its insane and I think someone needs to come up with a solution soon.
There are plans to build a hotel and Richard Branson want's to start commercial flights... the more space debris the more we will end up paying to travel to space.
